Method and an apparatus for determining an allocation decision for at least one elevator
A method for determining an allocation decision for at least one elevator includes using an existing calls in an elevator system as a first input in a machine learning module, processing the first input with the machine learning module to provide a first output comprising a first allocation decision, using the first output as a second input in an iterative module, processing the second input with the iterative module to provide a second ouput comprising a second allocation decision, and providing the second allocation decision to an elevator control module and to an allocation decision storage for further machine learning module training.
Elevator system with LIDAR and/or RADAR sensor
Disclosed is an elevator system having an elevator entryway, the elevator entryway including: a first door, which is an elevator door, a first controller operationally connected to the first door for opening and closing the first door to provide access to an elevator, wherein when the first door is closing: the first controller monitors for first instructions over a frequency applicable to light detection and ranging (LIDAR) and/or a radio detection and ranging (RADAR), and upon receiving the first instructions, the first controller executes the first instructions.
ELEVATOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS IN AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
According to an aspect, there is provided an elevator communication system. The system comprises an elevator communication network configured to carry elevator system associated data and a plurality of elevator system nodes communicatively connected to the elevator communication network, wherein at least some of the plurality of elevator system nodes each comprises a camera associated with different landing floors, respectively, configured to provide image data about a respective landing floor area and wherein at least one of the plurality of elevator system nodes comprises a display arranged in an elevator car; and an apparatus communicatively connected to the elevator communication network, the apparatus being configured to receive an elevator call to a landing floor, and cause the display to display data provided by a camera associated with the landing floor in response to the elevator call to the landing floor.
Elevator service request using user device
Methods and systems for elevator control are provided. The methods and systems include receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, a request for at least one service associated with an elevator system from a user device, controlling an elevator car to travel to a specific floor in accordance with the request, controlling an elevator car door to be closed upon arriving at the specific floor, transmitting an indicator to the user device that the elevator car has arrived at the specific floor, and controlling the elevator car door to open upon receiving, by the computing device, an access request from the user device.
Systems and methods for operation of elevators and other devices
Embodiments of systems and methods for digital control of elevator and other access gateways are described herein. More specifically, embodiments comprise systems and methods for retrofitting or outfitting elevator systems with digital control systems that can be universally applied to virtually every manufacturer's elevator systems.
Method and system for elevating elevator cars including allocating elevator cars to serve load calls
An elevator group control device may handle load calls for an elevator system having an elevator car, whereby a load call includes a departure floor, a destination floor, load specification data and a time period which the load is to be transported from the departure floor to the destination floor. The allocating may include reserving a particular portion of the floor area of the elevator car for the load during a portion of the time period, based on the load specification data and the particular portion being available to accommodate the load during the portion of the time period.
Biometric pre-identification
A station device in a biometric pre-identification system uses identity to perform one or more actions. Identities are determined (such as via a backend) using biometric information. A biometric pre-identification device obtains biometric information and/or a digital representation thereof from a person approaching the station device. The biometric pre-identification device transmits such to the station device, facilitating the station to begin and/or perform various actions. The station device begins or performs the actions using the identity determined based on the biometric information before the person arrives at the station device.
OCCUPANT-BASED INTELLIGENT ELEVATOR ACTIONS
A method, system, and computer program product for occupant-based elevator actions are provided. The method identifies a set of subjects approaching a set of elevators to generate a set of identities for the set of subjects. A set of initial priority statuses are generated for the set of subjects. Based on the set of identities and the set of initial priority statuses, an elevator dispatch solution is determined. The method updates at least a portion of the initial priority statuses to generate a set of subsequent priority statuses in response to a subset of subjects entering at least one elevator. The method determines an isolation response for a first subject of the subset of subjects and modifies the elevator dispatch solution based on the isolation response to generate an isolation dispatch solution. The at least one elevator executes the isolation dispatch solution.
