OPERATION DISPLAY DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR
In order to make an operation display device that performs floor setting or maintenance work remotely with a remote controller smaller and better in design, it is equipped with: a faceplate 6 having a display opening 6a; a transmissive plate 7 closing the display opening 6a; an internal sheet metal 9 having a wiring opening 9a and disposed on the back side of the faceplate 6; a liquid crystal display 8 fixed to the front face of the internal sheet metal 9 so as to face the display opening 6a and having a cable 10 passed through the wiring opening 9a to the back side of the internal sheet metal 9; and an infrared receiving device 12 provided on the back side of the internal sheet metal 9 to receive infrared rays 5a from the remote controller 5.
CENTRAL ELEVATOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
According to an aspect, there is provided a central elevator management system comprising an ethernet bus, a plurality of elevator system nodes communicatively connected to the ethernet bus and an elevator control unit communicatively connected to the ethernet bus and configured to communicate with the plurality of elevator system nodes via the ethernet bus. The elevator control unit is configured execute a configuration manager providing a management interface for a configuration entity, wherein the configuration manager is configured to receive a configuration update associated with at least one elevator system node from the configuration entity; and transmit configuration data to the at least one elevator system node based on the configuration update.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM RESPONSE TO CUSTOM PASSENGER ATTRIBUTES
A passenger customization system including: a processor; and a memory including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations including: detecting that an individual is within a selected range of an elevator system; obtaining a passenger attribute of the individual; and adjusting a component of the elevator system in response to the passenger attribute.
Cloud based elevator dispatching resource management
Provided are techniques for performing cloud-based elevator dispatching resource management. The techniques include receiving usage information of one or more elevators of an elevator system, obtaining configuration parameters of a controller configured to control the one or more elevators, and analyzing a performance of the one or more elevators based at least in part on the usage information. The techniques also include dynamically updating the configuration parameters of the controller based on the performance and the usage information, storing the configuration parameters and corresponding performance, and operating the one or more elevators based at least in part on the updated configuration parameters.
Biometric pre-identification
A station device in a biometric pre-identification system uses identity to perform one or more actions. Identities are determined (such as via a backend) using biometric information. A biometric pre-identification device obtains biometric information and/or a digital representation thereof from a person approaching the station device. The biometric pre-identification device transmits such to the station device, facilitating the station to begin and/or perform various actions. The station device begins or performs the actions using the identity determined based on the biometric information before the person arrives at the station device.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A PASSENGER TRANSPORT SYSTEM BY RELIABLY CONFIGURING AN ELECTRONIC SAFETY DEVICE BY MEANS OF VISUAL DATA TRANSMISSION
A controller controls passenger transport system functionalities and a safety device monitors a safety-relevant function of the system by storing a configured parameter to transfer to a “configured” state. The method includes: the controller receiving a configuration parameter; transmitting the configuration parameter to the safety device; storing a configured parameter in the safety device, based upon the received configuration parameter; transmitting configured data from the safety device to the controller, the configured data encoding an item of graphic information that is shown on a display of the controller, the graphic information uniquely reproducing the configured parameter in a visual, machine-readable manner; reading out the graphic information by an optical read-out sensor of a mobile, processor-controlled data processing device; and comparing the configured parameter reproduced by the read-out graphic information to a target configuration parameter. The controller controlling the functionalities according to whether there is sufficient agreement between the compared parameters.
Method for configuring security related configuration parameters in a passenger transport installation
A method for configuring security related configuration parameters is used in a passenger transport installation that includes at least one sensor exchanging sensor signals with a control. The sensor detects operating parameters within the passenger transport installation and emits corresponding sensor signals. The control controls security related functions of the passenger transport installation taking into account the sensor signals and the configuration parameters. The method includes: comparing the sensor signals with a predefined key signal pattern; operating the control temporarily in a configuration mode exclusively if the compared sensor signals correspond to the key signal pattern; and configuring the security related configuration parameters during the configuration mode. An installation-specific sensor (e.g. optical sensor or magnetic field sensor) functions as an interface to put the control into configuration mode in a targeted manner, e.g. by a test piece with a barcode maintained in the field of view of the optical sensor.
METHOD OF GENERATING BUTTONS FOR CAR OPERATING PANELS
A computer-implemented method of automatically generating and populating one or more car floor buttons on a configuration tool display wherein the configuration tool is in communication with an elevator cabin of an elevator system.
Automatic fault clearing for elevators, escalators and automatic doors
A device and a method for controlling an apparatus being an elevator, an escalator or automatic doors are provided, by which it is detected whether a fault is present in the apparatus. It is determined, when the fault is present, whether an automatic fault clearing may be carried out, and if it is determined that the automatic fault clearing may be carried out, the automatic fault clearing is performed by automatically clearing one or more faults.
