ELEVATOR ARRANGEMENT WITH LOW HEADROOM
The invention relates to an elevator arrangement comprising an elevator with an elevator a control system, a safety system and an inspection or maintenance mode, which elevator having an elevator car arranged to run up and down in an elevator shaft along guide rails, and which elevator car is equipped with a roof. The roof of the elevator car is arranged to open outwards from the elevator car in order to form a natural safe space inside the elevator car at least during inspection and maintenance tasks.
Elevator
A pressurized fluid powered cabin-management system for an elevator system with a cabin and drive system is provided. The cabin-management system is configured to direct operation of the elevator system upon arrival of one of the cabins at a floor, and comprises a floor detector configured to detect when the cabin is located at a floor and to activate a timer. The timer is configured, when triggered, to activate a timing arrangement and to pass pressurized fluid to a control valve being in a first position. The timing arrangement is configured to direct the control valve to assume a second position after a predetermined amount of time. The cabin-management system performs, when pressurized fluid is passed to the control valve in its first position, actions for opening a door, and, after the control valve has assumed its second position, actions for travel of the cabin.
ELEVATOR REQUEST AUTHORIZATION SYSTEM FOR A THIRD PARTY
An elevator request authorization system is provided and includes a second server configured to grant an elevator use token upon request from a first server registerable with the second server for establishing secure communications between the second server and the first server. The first server is configured to be receptive of an elevator request relating to elevator usage by a user, to authenticate the user, to authorize the elevator usage by the user to which the elevator request relates, to request the elevator use token from the second server via the secure communications upon authentication and authorization and to deliver the elevator use token to the user upon receipt.
Elevator evacuation system configured to account for prioritized evacuation
A method for evacuating people with an elevator system. The method including identifying an evacuation mode in the elevator system; determining the amount of people in each building floor to be evacuated by a normal evacuation service of the elevator system and whether there exists at least one person to be evacuated who is entitled to a prioritized evacuation service; calculating an estimated evacuation waiting time for each floor to be evacuated by the normal evacuation service, wherein the calculation takes into account that the at least one person allowed to the prioritized evacuation service is evacuated first; and causing display of the estimated evacuation waiting time iii each building floor to be evacuated by the normal evacuation service.
PASSENGER CONVEYOR PERFORMANCE RATING SYSTEM
A passenger conveyor performance rating system includes a user device and a computing server. The user device obtains geographical information of the passenger conveyor system and displays a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface receives a first input indicating an operating performance of an individual passenger conveyor and a second input indicating at least one operation fault of the individual passenger conveyor. The computing server receives first data indicating the operating performance, second data indicating the at least one operation fault, and third data indicating the geographical information. The computing server further determines a faulty passenger conveyor system based on the first data and the second data and determines the geographical location of the faulty passenger conveyor system based on the geographical information received from the user device.
MOTION FEEDBACK IN AN ELEVATOR
An elevator drive apparatus is described which includes a drive unit for driving an elevator car, a brake device for braking a motion of the elevator car, a detector for detecting an electrical operation amount of the drive unit, and a controller. The controller is configured to release the brake device, to compare the detected electrical operation amount with a threshold, and to apply the brake device when the detected electrical operation amount exceeds the threshold. In this way, it is ensured that a speed of the elevator car in case of a rescue situation is within a safety limit.
OPERATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HOIST ELEVATORS
Systems and methods for hoist elevator system operation are provided. Hoist elevator operation systems and methods operate using a wireless network that may include a plurality of wireless technologies. Hoist elevator operation systems include a floor call station installed on a level or floor of a construction site, as well as a car controller paired to an operator panel and installed in a hoist elevator car. A remote server and a base station may also be provided.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A MAINTENANCE MODE OF AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A control unit, an elevator-monitoring apparatus and a method are used to monitor a maintenance mode of an elevator installation. The control unit has a controller and a memory device, wherein the controller receives a first signal when a locking device of shaft door is locked and receives a second signal when the locking device is unlocked. The controller compares a chronological signal sequence of first signals and second signals with a reference sequence stored in the memory device for actuation of the locking device and, if the signal sequence of the first signals and second signals matches the reference sequence, ends the maintenance mode and releases a car of the elevator installation for a traveling operation.
Elevator controller configured to control an elevator based on a determination of which of a plurality of elevator cars is associated with a passenger having registered a destination call, a system and a method of operating same
An elevator controller may include a memory configured to store acceleration data therein; and a processor configured to, register a passenger-specific destination call, the passenger-specific destination call including destination information indicating a destination floor of a passenger, receive passenger acceleration data indicating a vertical acceleration of the passenger in one of a plurality of elevator cars, compare elevator acceleration data of the plurality of elevator cars departing a floor with the passenger acceleration data, determine whether a correlation exists between the passenger acceleration data and the elevator acceleration data of a detected one of the plurality of elevator cars, and guide the detected one of the plurality of elevator cars that has left a floor to the destination floor according to the passenger-specific destination call, if the processor determines that the correlation exists.
PIT SWITCH MODULE OF LANDING DOOR OF ELEVATOR
A pit switch module of elevator landing door for switching a mode of elevator between an inspection mode and a normal mode comprises a pit switch arranged that ON/OFF operation is configured to be done by an operator at a landing at the state when the elevator landing door has been closed such that the mode of elevator is switched before the operator enters a hoistway or after the operator leaves the hoistway.
