Enhanced safety dasher board assembly
A dasher board assembly provides enhanced safety, such as for ice hockey rinks. The assembly is constructed so that on low height impacts a dampening material with at least one of a damping coefficient of about 1.7-3.210.sup.4 N-s/m, a spring constant of about 1.5-3.010.sup.6 N/m, and a loss coefficient greater than 0.15, absorbs the impact. On high height impacts both the dampening material and deflection of cantilevered generally vertical polygonal aluminum tubes absorb the impact. The assembly results in a Head Injury Criteria of less than 250 for all realistic scenarios, and a reduction of HIC values of at least 30% compared to an equivalent assembly with a rigid frame.

MODULAR SKATE COMPONENT AND SYSTEMS THEREOF
Described herein is a modular skate system that includes at least one modular skate component comprising a major surface, a core comprising a body formed from a first material, an outer layer formed from a second material, the outer layer surrounding at least a portion of the core, wherein the first material is different from the second material, and wherein the major surface comprises the outer layer.
Textile run and use thereof
A textile run with a slide surface (1, 51) consisting of looped fabric, the looped fabric comprising loops (4, 54) which are formed of warp threads by weaving or of pile threads by tufting and have a height (3, 53) of between at least 3 mm and at most 10 mm, 100 to 950 loops being disposed over an area of 1 dm 2. The invention further concerns the use of the textile run.
