ICE SKATING RINK STRUCTURE AND METHOD
A self-standing portable ice skating rink structure that does not penetrate the underlying surface and generally requires no tools or hardware for installation is provided. The ice skating rink structure includes a perimeter component and one or more tension members. The perimeter component can include one or more board holding members and/or one or more optionally interlocking side boards.
SUPPORT MEMBER FOR ELEVATING A RETAINING WALL PANEL
A support member for elevating a retaining wall panel includes a base arrangement with a first area that engages an underlying mounting surface. A height elevating section extends from the base arrangement to a third area. The height elevating section has a receiving area configured to connect to a wall panel. A sloped surface extends between the base arrangement proximate the first area and the height elevating section proximate to the third area. The sloped surface is configured to support a load bearing panel.

Extended skating rink and method of play thereon
A roller skating rink for players to play a skating game utilizes one or more game implements. A skating track includes a peripheral edge and a center area. The roller skating rink includes a concave peripheral wall that encloses the skating track and has a lower end and an upper end that are substantially vertically aligned. The concave peripheral wall may include one or more doorways through which the players and the game implements may traverse. One or more propelling devices are each adapted to propel one of the game implements into the roller skating rink. One or more scoring receptacles are situated for receiving one or more of the game implements therein proximate the upper end of the concave peripheral wall. A method of game play is further disclosed.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MODULAR RAMP
A modular ramp for creating a ski jump on a modern naval vehicles is provided. Generally, the system allows a user to manipulate a ramp surface in a way that best suits the needs of the user at that time. The system generally comprises a framework, interlinking tracks, and control arm. The control arm manipulates the position of the framework, which in turn manipulates the surface created by the interlinking tracks. The modular ramp may also comprise mechanical joints and a hinge, which may allow the surface to be manipulated in multiple directions.
SPORTS WALL ASSEMBLY
Rate of deceleration is an important factor in determining the severity of injuries, such as head and neck injuries, possibly sustained when participants collide with a wall assembly while playing, for example, ice hockey. The described wall assemblies each include a support assembly and a movable wall assembly supported by and movable with respect to the support assembly. Telescoping parts of the movable wall assembly enable deflection of the movable wall assembly to complex angles with respect to the support assembly. In addition, movable wall assemblies can be coupled such that impact on one wall assembly can cause deflection of an adjacent wall assembly. Covers, shields, and spacers can be positioned to decrease gap formation during deflection of the movable wall assembly to reduce the risk of pinch points.
Liquid cooling system for outdoor surfaces
A liquid cooling system for an outdoor ice forming surface provides a geothermal heat pump that has a refrigeration circuit with a compressor that is disposed between a cold tube section and a hot tube section. An outdoor structure has an upward facing ice forming surface that is configured to retain a body of ice, where a coolant line is provided at or near the ice forming surface. A fluid pump is coupled with the coolant line and is configured to circulate liquid through the coolant line and over the cold tube section of the geothermal heat pump to dispense heat before being recirculated to the ice forming surface of the outdoor structure.
