Automated sort area using robots

A method of delivering packages using a robot delivery system including: obtaining information about a package from an online ordering platform application programing interface, the information about the package including at least a destination of the package; transmitting the information about the package to a first robot; instructing the first robot to obtain the package or retain the package; and instructing the first robot to deliver the package to the destination using a conveyance system.

GENERATION OF CONTROL SIGNALS

A method generates, by a control system, mutually synchronized control signals to an elevator system residing in a building and to at least one mobile robot operating in the building. The method includes: receiving a service request from an external system; detecting that an accomplishment of a requested service requires a service from both the elevator system and the at least one mobile robot; generating a first control signal to the elevator system and a second control signal to the at least mobile robot, the control signals causing the elevator system and the at least one mobile robot to operate in a synchronized manner to accomplish a service. The invention also relates to a control system and a computer program product.

Determination for motion of passenger over elevator landing area

The present invention relates to determining the movement of a passenger relative to an elevator landing area, which belongs to the field of elevator intelligent control technologies. An automatic elevator calling system of the present invention comprises: a first wireless signal module installed in an elevator car, which is used for broadcasting a first wireless signal; wherein the first wireless signal module is further used for receiving information regarding the movement of a passenger relative to the elevator car, and the information regarding the movement is determined based on the change in a signal strength of the first wireless signal received by a personal mobile terminal carried by the passenger.

Mobile visitor management

A system and method of managing visitor access to an elevator using a mobile device of the visitor is provided. The method includes generating a visitor invitation based on a tenant input using an electronic device, receiving the visitor invitation at the mobile device of the visitor, and gaining limited access to designated floor based on limitation values contained in the visitor invitation.

METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM

A method for operating an elevator system that includes an elevator car movable between landings in response to an elevator call registered by an elevator control unit. The method includes determining a special operating mode of the elevator system, the special operating mode being different from a nominal operating mode at least with respect to a characteristic of use of the elevator car, and operating, in the special operating mode, the elevator system so as to reduce a number of passengers entering the elevator car from the landing compared to the nominal operating mode based on the characteristic.

Control of a generation of an elevator landing call

The solution relates to controlling a generation of an elevator landing call. In the solution, at least two different types of sensors are monitored. In response to a detection that the at least one first type sensor generates an indication on a detection, data indicating a detection by the at least one second type sensor is inquired. If the data inquired does not indicate the detection by the at least one second type sensor a signal is generated causing the generation of the elevator landing call. If the data inquired indicates the detection generated by the at least one second type sensor a generation of the signal causing the generation of the elevator landing call is prevented.

DATA CAPTURE DEVICE FOR AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND A BUILDING ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

A data capture device for a building system has a housing in which a display device, an optical reading device, and a first reading device are arranged and which are communicatively connected to a control device arranged in the housing. The optical reading device is embodied to optically detect information from a first information carrier, wherein the optical reading device is arranged in such a way that light from the direction of the front side of the housing, which is accessible to a user, can be captured by an image sensor of the optical reading device. The first reading device has a first antenna in order to detect information from a second information carrier by means of radio communication, the first antenna comprising an air coil which has an inner space. The image sensor of the optical reading device is arranged entirely or partially in the inner space of the air coil.

METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ELEVATOR SYSTEM

Vehicle parking information is used to control an elevator system. The vehicle parking information indicates that at least one parking space is occupied, and one or more elements of the elevator system may be controlled based on the vehicle parking information. An apparatus, a method and a computer program are provided.

CONTROLLING OF ELEVATOR SYSTEM
