An elevator security procedure is performed according to a security level of an elevator of a building including a plurality of residence units through an elevator security system. The elevator security system includes home gateways respectively installed at the plurality of residence units and a server coupled to the home gateways. The server may analyze a comparison result of passenger information of passengers in the elevator and member information of members of residence units associated with floors selected by the passengers in the elevator. The server may determine a security level of the elevator based on the analysis result. The server may perform a security procedure designated for the determined security level by controlling at least one of constituent elements of the elevator and smart devices coupled to the at least one of home gateways.

Elevator operation for occupancy

An elevator system is provided. Aspects includes an elevator car, a sensor affixed to the elevator car, wherein the sensor is operated by a controller, the controller is configured to receive occupancy data associated with the elevator car. The occupancy data is analyzed to determine an occupancy of the elevator car. A first hall call is received and based at least in part on the occupancy and the first hall call, adjusting operation of the elevator car in the elevator system.

The passenger conveyance passenger tracking control system further includes an electronic control module in signal communication with the at least one call request device and at least one passenger position 3-D depth-sensing sensor. The electronic control module is configured to control operation of the passenger conveyance based on the position of the at least one passenger.

The elevator security and control system further includes an electronic control module that detects at least one body part of the at least one passenger and controls operation of the elevator car based on at least one of a position and a movement of the at least one body part.

A safety device for a path that is traversed to enter a region in which danger to an individual is heightened due to operation of a machine includes at least one sensor installed along the path so as to detect the individual thereat, which compels the sensor to generate a signal. A lockout mechanism is deployed that compels the machine into a non-operational state in response to receiving the signal from the sensor. The lockout mechanism ensures the machine remains in the non-operational state when the signal from the sensor is removed therefrom. A reset circuit is deployed that, in response to activation thereof, compels the lockout mechanism to allow the machine into the operational state from the non-operational state.

The method including: obtaining gravity acceleration of the robot in a static state in an elevator and transient acceleration of the robot in a moving state in the elevator, a starting story number, and a story height of each story; obtaining an acceleration change waveform of the robot; comparing the acceleration change waveform by using an acceleration waveform classifier of the elevator, to obtain a movement status of the elevator at each moment; obtaining actual displacement of the elevator in a complete movement status of the elevator; and obtaining a story that the elevator is on after a complete movement status according to the actual displacement of the elevator, the starting story number, and the story height of each story.
