Elevator safety gear actuation device
An elevator safety gear actuation device for actuating an elevator safety gear comprises a first member and a second member. The first and second members are arranged opposite to each other defining a gap configured for accommodating a guide member extending in a longitudinal direction. At least one of the engagement members comprises an engagement element which is movable in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction between a disengaged position and an engaged position. The first engagement element comprises at least one permanent magnet which is configured for being magnetically attracted and attaching to the guide member extending through the gap when the engagement element is arranged in the engaged position. The second member comprises at least one additional permanent magnet which is configured for being magnetically attracted to the guide member extending through the gap.

SAFETY LINK WITH PULLEY
A safety link for an elevator car traveling in an elevator hoistway includes a hitch bracket slidably mounted to the elevator car frame so as to be movable in the moving directions of the elevator car and biased toward the downward movement direction of the elevator car in normal operating condition, the hitch bracket connected to the governor rope, and a pulley rotatably mounted to the hitch bracket and including an actuation wire wrapped around the pulley and connected to a safety device.
MULTI-CAR ELEVATOR SYSTEM
Provided is a multi-car elevator system including: a plurality of cars to be raised and lowered in the same hoistway; and an inspection work controller. The inspection work controller is operated by a worker so as to move an operation target car which is one of the plurality of cars. Further, the operation target car is allowed to be selected from two or more of the cars in a work area in which the worker is present.

SPEED LIMITER FOR A LIFTING GEAR HAVING BRAKE ACTUATED BY CENTRIFUGAL FORCE
The invention relates to an overspeed governor for a lifting gear comprising a sheave driven by a overspeed governor cable and a brake for braking the sheave, wherein the brake comprises at least one eccentric piece, mounted on the sheave in a pivoting manner, wherein the eccentric piece is mounted on a first centrifugal weight in a pivoting manner and mounted on a second centrifugal weight in a pivoting manner, wherein, in the event of a displacement of the first and second centrifugal weights due to centrifugal force, the first and the second centrifugal weights pivot the eccentric piece, the brake comprising a reset unit having a spring system which pulls the centrifugal weights in the direction of the undeflected position thereof, wherein the spring system has a first spring constant up to a switching speed, the spring system has a second spring constant from the electric switching speed of the sheave and the second spring constant is greater than the first spring constant.
Remote triggering device, governor assembly and elevator
A remote trigger apparatus includes: an actuator; and a pivoting member rotatable around an axis, wherein the actuator enables the pivoting member to rotate from an idle position to an operating position, in the idle position, the pivoting member keeps separate from a centrifugal mechanism of the governor component, in the operating position, the pivoting member is jointed to a contact part of the centrifugal mechanism of the governor component, and the pivoting member further rotates along with the centrifugal mechanism and radially pushes the contact part inward, so as to trigger the governor component. In the remote trigger apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, the pivoting member guides the centrifugal mechanism gradually and gently, thus avoiding direct impacts on the centrifugal mechanism of the governor component and problems caused by the direct impacts.
EMERGENCY TERMINAL STOPPING SYSTEMS
An emergency terminal stopping system for an elevator system, the emergency terminal stopping system including: a sensor configured to determine data related to the motion of an elevator car moving within an elevator hoistway; at least one elevator brake configured to halt the motion of the elevator car; at least one elevator safety gear device provided on the elevator car; and at least one buffer provided at a lower portion of the hoistway.
DEVICES FOR ACTIVATING ELEVATOR SAFETY BRAKES
Elevator systems utilize safety mechanisms with brakes that engage guide rails when an elevator car limit speed is exceeded or when a free-fall condition is detected. A device may be employed in such elevator systems to simultaneously activate the safety mechanisms and vastly decrease the likelihood that failure of the members connecting one safety mechanism will render other safety mechanisms inoperative. The device may generally include a rotatable central member that is configured to be coupled to a governor assembly of an elevator system. The device may also generally include linkages that connect the central member in parallel to the safety mechanisms. When the governor assembly is activated and exerts an activation force at the central member, the central member rotates to simultaneously activate the safety mechanisms and engage brakes of the safety mechanisms with the guide rails.
