System to enable access to travelling cable dead end hitch from inside an elevator car
A travelling cable end hitch and rail arrangement for an elevator system includes a rail assembly fixed to an elevator car of the elevator system, a movable device positioned at and movable along the rail assembly, and an end hitch portion of a travelling cable of the elevator system secured to the movable device and movable with the movable device along the rail assembly. A method of accessing a travelling cable end hitch of an elevator system includes accessing a travelling cable from inside of an elevator car, pulling the travelling cable upward from inside of the elevator car, moving an end hitch portion of the travelling cable along a rail assembly secured to a bottom of the elevator car via pulling the travelling cable upward, and inspecting the end hitch portion from inside the elevator car when the end hitch portion reaches a first end of the rail assembly.
Rope lifting tool and a rope lifting arrangement
A rope lifting tool for belt-shaped ropes comprises a first guide for guiding the rope lifting tool along a first guide rail; a second guide for guiding the rope lifting tool along a second guide rail; an upright plate, and an inclined plate at an acute angle relative to the upright plate. The upright plate and the inclined plate have a wedge shaped space between them. A plurality of wedge members are placed adjacent each other inside the wedge-shaped space. A rope gap for receiving an end of a belt-shaped rope is formed between each wedge member and the upright plate, which rope gap is narrowable by wedging of the wedge member in the wedge shaped space. A rope lifting arrangement includes the rope lifting tool.
SUSPENSION DEVICE AND USE THEREOF IN AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A suspension device has at least one brake for braking an elevator car relative to a stationary component of an elevator system, a brake holding assembly holding the brake on the elevator car, and a support means holding assembly holding a support means on the elevator car. The support means connects the elevator car to a counterweight of the elevator system. The brake holding assembly holds the brake against the elevator car such that the brake moves relative to the elevator car in a force direction produced by the brake. The support means holding assembly holds the support means against the elevator car such that the support means moves relative to the elevator car substantially in a force direction produced by the support means. A load measuring device measures an exerted force produced by relative movement of the support means and/or the brake.
Damper unit for an elevator
A damper unit for an elevator, for the purpose of reducing vertical vibration of a stopping elevator car, has at least one roller that, in an active position, is in contact with a guide rail for the elevator car and can be rotated about an axis of rotation. For damping rotary movements during vertical vibration of the stopping elevator car, the roller is connected to a rotation damper.

Electrically insulating suspension device mounting fixture
An elevator system has a car and a suspension device, wherein the car is least partially carried by the suspension device. The suspension device includes several electrically conductive tension members that are arranged parallel to one another and are essentially enclosed by a jacket. The suspension device is attached to suspension device mounting fixtures, wherein the suspension device mounting fixtures each include a housing and a clamping element. The housing and the clamping element have clamping surfaces between which the suspension device is clamped. The clamping element and/or the housing is made of an electrically insulating material.

Elevator system
An example elevator system may include at least one elevator cage that is displaceable in an elevator shaft, a connection means that has a first elevator cage-side end and a second end, and a suspension disposed on the elevator cage. The connection means may include, for instance, a balance chain or belt. The first end of the connection means may be fastened to the suspension on the elevator cage. Further, the example elevator system may include a support unit that exerts a force on the suspension that counteracts a force acting on the suspension due to a mass of the connection means. The support unit may include a rope, a deflection roller, and a counterweight, wherein the rope is fastened to the counterweight and the suspension and is guided over the deflection roller.
