Suspension anchoring in an elevator system
09533859 · 2017-01-03 · ·

An elevator system has at least one elevator car and at least one counterweight connected by a suspension device, both of which can be counter-directionally displaced at at least one guide rail in an elevator shaft via a traction sheave of a drive. At least one pivotable suspension anchoring is adaptable to displacements of the suspension device according to a displacement angle wherein a rolling body moves on a holding plate.

ROPE TERMINAL, ELEVATOR AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING ELEVATOR SUSPENSION ROPE

A rope terminal for supporting an elevator suspension rope comprises a body of electrically conductive material, comprising a wedge house; a connecting rod of electrically conductive material, fixed to the body for connecting mechanically the rope terminal to a rope terminal fixing in a machine room or in a shaft; a wedge configured to be inserted in the wedge house when the rope is wound around the wedge. The rope terminal comprises at least one grounding member configured to create an electrically conductive connection between the body of the rope terminal and an electrically conductive core of the rope having an electrically insulating coating. An elevator and a method for installing an elevator suspension rope having an electrically insulating coating.

Rope anchor and elevator arrangement and method for constructing elevator

The invention relates to a rope anchor for anchoring one or more ropes of an elevator, comprising at least a wedge housing comprising a tapering nest shaped to have a narrow end which is open towards a first direction, and a wide end which is open towards a second direction; and one or more wedge members mounted in the tapering nest for being wedged against a rope passing through the tapering nest; and one or more spring members for urging and/or arranged to urge the one or more wedge member towards the narrow end of the tapering nest; and a releasing mechanism actuatable to move the one or more wedge members (2,3) towards the wide end of the tapering nest. The invention also relates to an elevator arrangement comprising said anchor, as well as to a method implementing the arrangement.

ELEVATOR CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

An elevator cable management system includes a gate hingedly coupled with a first body, where the gate is configured to retain one or more cables that extend from an elevator car when in a closed position, where the gate is configured to transition from the closed position to an open position responsive to the elevator car making contact with the elevator cable management system, and where the first body is configured to rotate away from the one or more cables to a position aside the elevator car responsive to the elevator car moving relative to the elevator cable management system.

An elevator system includes an elevator car movable in an elevator shaft, a suspension means extending in the elevator shaft, a drive machine associated with the suspension means and a controllable coupling apparatus arranged on the elevator car. The suspension means has a coupling element that the coupling apparatus can be coupled to by assuming a coupled position and from which the coupling apparatus can be uncoupled by assuming an uncoupled position, as a result of which a drive connection between the elevator car and the suspension means can be established and released. The elevator system has a securing device that can assume a securing position and a release position and that, in the securing position, secures the coupling apparatus in the coupled position against leaving the coupled position.
