DOOR SYSTEM FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A door system for an elevator installation having an elevator car with a car door arranged to travel in an elevator shaft with shaft doors, wherein the car door is spaced from the shaft doors in a closed position of the door system. A primary pivot spindle is coupled to a pivotable door leaf of the shaft door or the car door and a secondary pivot spindle is coupled to a pivotable door leaf of the other of the car door and the shaft door. A drive unit includes a driven, pivotably mounted shaft to which a first entrainer and a second entrainer are fixed. During a pivoting movement of the shaft, the first entrainer engages a first counterpart element on the primary pivot spindle and the second entrainer engages a second counterpart element on the secondary pivot spindle to effect a pivoting movement of the door leaves.
DOOR SYSTEM FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A door system for an elevator installation having an elevator car, the door system including a pivotable first car door leaf mounted at a car door opening and a pivotable first shaft door leaf mounted at a shaft door opening of the elevator installation. At least a part of the shaft door opening is closed by the first shaft door leaf in a closed position thereof and a shaft door plane is formed along the shaft door leaf. At least a part of the car door opening is closed by the first car door leaf in a closed position thereof and a car door plane is formed along the car door leaf. The car door leaf, in an open position thereof, extends through the shaft door plane, or the shaft door leaf, in an open position thereof, extends through the car door plane.
Adaptive elevator door dwell time
A method of controlling an elevator door dwell time includes obtaining a predefined load weight value; obtaining a load weight value from a load weight sensor coupled to an elevator car; comparing the load weight value to the predefined load weight value to generate a difference; and adjusting the elevator door dwell time in response to the difference to define an adjusted elevator door dwell time.
Braking device for a door operator
A device for inhibiting the closing of a door that controls entry of an enclosure includes a first magnet disposed on a driven portion of the device and a second magnet disposed on a fixed portion of the enclosure. The first magnet and the second magnet are configured to be in register with each other as the door moves toward a closed position such that if the first magnet and the second magnet are in register with each other, a pole of the first magnet is in close proximity of a pole of the second magnet such that the first magnet and the second magnet react to each other to inhibit motion of the door towards the closed position.
Elevator car ceiling access system
Elevator car ceiling access systems are provided. The elevator car ceiling access systems include an elevator car having a top and at least one elevator car door, an access panel located in a top of the elevator car, a car door operator, an access panel operator, and a selectively engageable coupling arranged between the car door operator and the access panel operator and arranged to selectively couple to the car door operator and the access panel operator to enable selective opening of the access panel.

DYNAMIC STOPPER/S IN AN ELEVATOR CAR
A system and a method for operating one or more dynamic stoppers in an elevator car. A method includes receiving a command at one or more control panels to switch one or more dynamic stoppers from a first position to a second position. The one or more dynamic stoppers are installed on a platform of an elevator car. The elevator car includes one or more doors and the one or more control panels is installed in the elevator car. The method includes switching the one or more dynamic stoppers from the first position to the second position using one or more actuators coupled to the one or more dynamic stoppers, respectively.
