Mechanical hoistway access control device
A mechanical hoistway access control device for an elevator landing door includes a first and a second base plates mounted on the hoistway side of a landing door panel and arranged in parallel with one another, a slider slidably arranged between the first and second base plates and configured to move in conjunction with a car door and configured to protrude out from a door closing side end of the landing door by a first elastic member to take an extended position when the landing door is opened with no elevator car at the landing, and a latch attached to the landing door and configured to engage with the slider to keep the slider in the extended position once the slider protrudes out from the door closing side end of the landing door.

Elevator car door interlock
An elevator car door interlock for unlocking an elevator car door of an elevator car is provided including a lock member (54) including an electrical contact (72). A rotatable link arm (58) has a sensing mechanism (52, 62) configured to detect a position of the elevator car door. An engagement latch (64) is pivotally mounted to the rotatable link arm. The engagement latch is engaged with the electrical contact when the elevator car door is locked. The engagement latch is rotated out of engagement with the electrical contact when the elevator car door is unlocked.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM LANDING DOOR UNLOCKING MECHANISM
A landing floor door access system for an elevator system includes a door lock operably connected to a landing floor door, and a door lock controller operably connected to the door lock. The door lock controller is configured for non-contact communication with an access device such that communication between the access device and the door lock controller initiates a signal from the door lock controller to the door lock to deactivate the door lock. A method of accessing a hoistway of an elevator system, includes approaching a landing floor door of the elevator system, the landing floor door positioned at the hoistway, and initiating communication between an access device and a door lock of the landing floor door via non-contact interaction between the access device and the door lock. The door lock is deactivated via the non-contact interaction between the access device and the door lock.

ELEVATOR CAR DOOR INTERLOCK
A method of unlocking an elevator car door or an elevator car is provided including operating a door operator. A link arm of a car door interlock operably coupled to the door operator is rotated. If the elevator car is positioned within a landing door zone, an engagement link coupled to the link arm is configured to pivot relative to the link arm to disengage from an electrical contact. If the elevator car is not positioned within a landing door zone, the engagement link does not pivot relative to the link arm and remains engaged with the electrical contact.

SYNCHRONISATION OF DOOR MOVEMENTS IN A LIFT SYSTEM
A method can be used to position a car door and a landing-stop door in a synchronized manner at a landing stop in an elevator shaft of an elevator system. The car door may be configured as a guide door, and the landing-stop door may be configured as a follower door. The method may involve bringing an elevator car close to the landing stop, upon entry of the car door into an unlock zone sensing a presence signal of the follower door by way of a presence sensor of the guide door, actuating the guide-door drive by way of the guide controller and executing an opening movement of the guide door, providing movement information of the guide door, and actuating the follower-door drive of the follower door.
Car door interlock with sill lock
A lock assembly for an elevator car door is provided including a car mechanism configured to move from a first position to a second position upon detection of a known condition. A contactor is mounted adjacent a lower portion of the elevator car door and is operably coupled to the car door mechanism. The contact is movable in response to movement of the car door mechanism to lock and unlock a portion of the elevator car door.
