SELF-TUNING DOOR TIMING PARAMETERS
Methods and system for tuning automatic doors are provided. Aspects includes receiving, by a controller, a request to open an automatic door, the request inputted to a first interface at a first location, determining an initial transfer time allowance (TTA), the initial TTA comprising an initial duration of time between a door open request time and a door closing start time, wherein the initial TTA is based on the first location, operating, by the controller, the automatic door to open and remain open until an expiration of the initial TTA, determining an occurrence of a transfer, wherein the transfer occurs at a first time point, determining whether the transfer is associated with the request, storing, in a memory, the first time point, and determining an adjusted TTA based on the first time point for the at least one transfer, wherein the adjusted TTA is associated with the first interface.
Elevator door sensor integrated with a long range communication gateway
A sensing apparatus for monitoring a conveyance system is provided. The sensing apparatus includes: a controller; at least one sensor in communication with the controller, the at least one sensors configured to detect sensor data of the conveyance system and communicate the sensor data to the controller; and a long-range communication module in communication with the controller, the long-range communication module being configured to transmit the sensor data to a remote system through a wireless network via long-range wireless communication protocol, wherein the long-range communication module is located within the sensing apparatus.
SIGNALIZATION APPARATUS
According to an aspect, there is provided a signalization apparatus, the signalization apparatus comprising a first input module comprising a capacitive proximity sensing arrangement configured to detect a gesture from a user; a second input module comprising at least one signalization interface element and configured to detect an input from the user; an analysis module coupled to the first and the second input module and configured to analyze signals received from the first and the second input module to generate a control signal; and an interface coupled to the analysis module and configured to receive the control signal and provide the control signal to a controller.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM WITH VISITOR OPERATING MODE
In a system with an elevator system, a host can grant a visitor access to a building and switch the elevator system into a visitor operating mode in order to transport the visitor to a destination floor. The host can initiate a movement of the elevator car to a first defined floor, on which a visitor would like to enter an elevator car, by means of an input on a mobile device. A camera arranged in the elevator car and a camera recording, which is produced by means of said camera and displayed on the mobile device, enable the host to check if only the user is located in the elevator car. If this is the case, the host can initiate the movement of the elevator car to the destination floor by means of an additional input on the mobile device.
Universal and software-configurable elevator door monitor
An elevator door monitor eliminates the need to use customized input devices or modules in an elevator door monitoring system. The elevator door monitor employs differential amplifier circuits, one circuit for each of a plurality of signals to be monitored regarding an elevator car, each signal corresponding to a separate input into a microcontroller unit (MCU). Each differential amplifier circuit electrically communicates with a respective input terminal of the MCU, which can include a memory resource storing settings associated with respective elevator control parameters. A user can enter each setting using a peripheral input device. These settings provide system customization in lieu of hardware components, allowing the elevator door monitor to function as a universal system that can monitor a variety of elevators.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM OPERATION ADJUSTMENT BASED ON COMPONENT MONITORING
An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator system includes a plurality of components respectively configured for at least one function during operation of the elevator system. A plurality of sensors are each associated with at least one of the components. Each sensor senses at least one characteristic of an actual performance of an associated one of the components. A processor is configured to receive respective indications from the sensors regarding the actual performance of the associated components, determine a difference between the actual performance and a desired performance of any of the components based on the respective indications, and determine an adjustment to the operation of the elevator system based upon the determined difference.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM WITH A MOBILE ROBOT
The invention relates to a method for controlling an elevator. In the method at least one control signal is generated for instructing the at least one mobile robot to a predetermined position. The at least one mobile robot generates at least one control signal to the elevator controller for controlling an elevator in response to an interaction with at least one user in the predetermined position. The invention also relates to an elevator system and a mobile robot implementing at least portions of the method.
