Elevator door device
An elevator door device includes a failure detection vane mounted on a safety shoe, and a failure detection roller to be brought into contact with the failure detection vane to turn on a shoe switch. The failure detection roller is mounted only on an OFF-failure detection floor. In a case where the shoe switch is turned off when a door is fully closed on the OFF-failure detection floor, it is determined that the safety shoe has OFF failure, and in a case where the shoe switch is turned on when the door is fully closed on an ON-failure detection floor, on which the failure detection roller is not mounted, it is determined that the safety shoe has ON failure.

METHOD OF HIGHLY EFFICIENTLY OPERATING ELEVATOR BY ANALYZING OPERATION OF ELEVATOR
The present invention relates to a method of highly efficiently operating an elevator by analyzing an operation of the elevator, including: a base information collecting step of measuring and collecting information on a change over time in magnitudes of current values of a driving unit when the driving unit for moving the elevator upward or downward moves the elevator upward in a normal state, measuring and collecting information on a change over time in magnitudes of current values of the driving unit when moving the elevator downward, classifying the measured information into driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator upward and driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator downward, and storing the driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator upward and the driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator downward as base information of the driving unit.

ADAPTIVE ELEVATOR DOOR DWELL TIME
A method of controlling an elevator door dwell time includes obtaining a predefined load weight value; obtaining a load weight value from a load weight sensor coupled to an elevator car; comparing the load weight value to the predefined load weight value to generate a difference; and adjusting the elevator door dwell time in response to the difference to define an adjusted elevator door dwell time.
ELEVATOR ACCESS SYSTEMS FOR ELEVATORS
Elevator access systems are provided. The elevator access systems include a bushing having a keyway, a plunger disposed within the bushing and movable relative thereto, a lever operably connected to the plunger, and a removable plug located within the keyway of the bushing, wherein the removable plug urges the plunger and the lever into a first position, and upon removal of the removable plug, the plunger and the lever move to a second position, wherein in the second position the plunger is accessible to operate the lever.

GUIDING DEVICE, GUIDING METHOD, AND ELEVATOR
A guiding device according to the present invention generates and displays guidance information for displaying a sequence of operation states of an elevator on a three-sided frame corresponding to the car responding to a call for the elevator or the periphery of the three-sided frame. The sequence of operation state of the elevator includes the position of the lobby corresponding to the car number of the car selected from among a plurality of cars in response to the call for the elevator, the movement of the car of the elevator, the arrival direction of the car, a situation where the car arrives at the calling floor and the door opens, a situation where the door is fully open and starts closing, and a situation where the door is closing. Thus, a user in the lobby can intuitively determine the complicated sequence of operation states of the elevator.
DOOR OPERATION CONTROLLER
A door operation controller for an elevator includes at least one sensor arranged in a doorway at a landing for detecting moving direction and/or moving speed of a person or an object in or near the doorway during a time period from when the elevator door is opened until when the elevator door is closed at the landing. The controller is configured to control door operation in response to the detection of a person's or object's movement in or near the doorway at the landing.
DOOR RAIL MONITORING
According to one embodiment, a method for monitoring a door rail of an elevator system is provided which comprises operating the elevator system to at least partially open a door, and to close the door at a slow speed, detecting that a door switch is closed and sending a signal when the time it takes for the door switch to close is over a predetermined value. The method for monitoring may be periodically commanded by an elevator control system.
