A guiding device for an elevator door leaf that includes a body within which at least a first cavity open outwards of said body. The guiding device also includes a first spherical element rotatably inserted in the first cavity and arranged so as to protrude from the first cavity outwards and anti-friction means interposed between the first spherical element and at least one wall delimiting the first cavity to limit the movement of the first spherical element within the first cavity.

Elevator trench drain

A trench drain includes a trench and a grating hingedly connected to the trench. The trench has a base wall with peripheral side walls extending upwardly therefrom and the trench defines a trench volume therein. The peripheral side walls of the trench have a pair of opposing elongated slots formed therein and the grating has a pair of posts on opposing ends thereof. Each of the pair of posts on the grating are received in a respective one of the pair of opposing elongated slots of the trench.

Bridging apparatus

The present invention is directed to a bridging apparatus. The apparatus may be used to span the gap between a vertically movable storage container and a stationary floor structure when a landing of the storage container is planar to a landing of the stationary floor structure. In this invention, the bridging apparatus comprises a bracket, an overlay plate, a hinge comprising a rod, glides, and a switch, which interact with each other and with the vertically movable storage container and the stationary floor structure. As the storage container ascends, the glide of the overlay plate slides angularly contacts a vertical wall of the stationary floor structure and glides along the wall. When the storage container landing is planar with the stationary floor structure landing, the overlay plate rotates downward to a 90-degree angle, resting in a recess in the stationary floor structure landing, engaging the switch to terminate power to the vertically movable storage container.

ARRANGEMENT IN THE DOOR STRUCTURE OF AN ELEVATOR

An arrangement in the door structure of an elevator includes at least an elevator car with doors and door panels, landing doors of the landing areas with door panels and a hanger carriage of each door panel, as well as a top track for the doors, supported on which top track the doors are suspended. The top track includes a separate frame beam, which is enclosed for essentially its whole length with a reinforcement structure.

A side of the seal member 35 is provided rotatably to a car-side door sill 31. The rotation of the side allows the side to be displaceable between a sealing position and an evacuation position. The link mechanism for rotating the seal member 35 releases an engagement with the car-side actuating member to rotate the seal member 35 to a sealing position and fixes the seal member 35 at the sealing position. The link mechanism engages with the actuating member and releases the fixing of the seal member 35 at a sealing position when the car door moves to the door-close end.

Construction time use elevator shaft element, elevator arrangement and method

An elevator shaft element, an elevator arrangement and a method of a construction time use elevator. The elevator shaft element comprises a frame module arranged for receiving an elevator car therein. The frame module is constructed from a transport and/or storage unit, comprising side walls, a bottom wall and a roof wall. The unit is arrangeable vertically such that said side walls, bottom wall and upper wall of the unit define an inner space of the elevator shaft. The side wall, the bottom wall or the upper wall of the transport and/or storage unit is opened at a length more than a floor height of a building for providing an opening for one or more landing doors, the opening having a first side-edge and a second side-edge parallel to longitudinal direction of the transport and/or storage unit. The elevator shaft element further comprises at least one stiffening beam arranged to be fixed to the opening and extending from the first side-edge to the second side-edge.

ELEVATOR SILL CLEARANCE PROTECTION DEVICE AND ELEVATOR CAR

An elevator sill clearance protection device includes a baffle plate arranged adjacent to an elevator car door sill and configured to be in a first position when an elevator car door is closed, and to be in a second position when the elevator car door is opened so as to at least partially reduce a clearance between the elevator car door sill and a landing door sill; and an actuator arranged in an elevator car and connected to the baffle plate, the actuator configured to actuate the baffle plate from the first position to the second position when the elevator car door is opened, and return the baffle plate to the first position when the elevator car door is closed.

GUIDE ASSEMBLIES AND RUNNERS

Guide assemblies are provided which include a translation guide, a door leaf for a lift, movable along the guide and comprising at least one support element placed at one end of the door leaf, at least one runner housed slidably in the translation guide and defining one or more connection seats to the support element, wherein the connection seat/s and the support element can be coupled with at least two different orientations of the runner with respect to the door leaf. For each orientation, the runner delimits at least a different friction surface with respect to the translation guide, the friction surfaces being non-equidistant from the support element so that the relative position between the door leaf and the translation guide can be changed by different orientations of the runner. The invention further relates to runners usable in a guide assembly.

ELEVATOR RECUPERATOR

An elevator car is provided having a floor, an elevator car door, and a sill, wherein a gap forms between the sill and a landing when the elevator car is positioned at the landing. A recuperator is connected below the elevator car, wherein at least a portion of the recuperator is configured to automatically move from a first position to a second position such that the at least a portion of the recuperator spans the gap. The recuperator is configured such that the at least a portion of the recuperator moves from the first position to the second position when the elevator car door opens and the at least a portion of the recuperator moves from the second position to the first position when the elevator car door closes.
