ELEVATOR APPARATUS
A seal member for sealing a gap between a car-side door sill and a landing-side door sill is slidable between a sealing position and a retracted position and is driven by a link mechanism. The seal member is connected to an actuation spring that receives a movement force toward the sealing position. The link mechanism releases engagement with the actuating member in synchronization with a start of a door open operation of the car door to permit sliding toward the sealing position caused by the actuation spring. The link mechanism is engaged with the actuating member of the car door side in synchronization with movement of the car door toward a door close end to move the seal member to the retracted position resisting to the actuation spring.
Elevator
An elevator includes at least one elevator car driving in an elevator shaft driven by an elevator drive. The elevator car has at least one car door and a door sill at the bottom of the car door, which door sill includes at least one groove, in which the car door is guided, in which groove at least one trash hole is located to prevent trash from accumulating in the groove, whereby the elevator car further includes a toe guard which extends downwards from the door sill. The trash hole is connected with a first upper end of an air channel extending downwards from the door sill and includes at least one channel portion extending with a direction component in a horizontal direction and/or having an opening directed sideward, which air channel is connected with the toe guard. The elevator leads to a reduced noise generation in the region of the door sill, particularly in elevator cars traveling with a high speed.
ELEVATOR DOOR SYSTEM
An elevator door system includes at least one elevator door; a guide bracket mounted to a bottom of the at least one elevator door; a threshold having a groove to receive the guide bracket; a retention bracket coupled to the threshold, the retention bracket positioned in a hoistway and behind the door, the retention bracket located proximate to a door jamb.
ELEVATOR SILL
A sill for an elevator, wherein a first support member and a first surface member are configured as separate members, and a second support member and a second surface member are configured as separate members. One of the first and second surface members has one upper plate section forming one upper surface of the sill, a bottom plate section forming a bottom surface of a sill groove, and one side plate section forming one side surface of the sill groove. The other of the first and second surface members has another upper plate section forming another upper surface of the sill, and another side plate section forming another side surface of the sill groove. A space into which a detachment prevention member provided on a lower part of the door panel is inserted is formed between the other side plate section and the bottom plate section.
Elevator system having a car-side extinguishing water drain system
A drain system, in an elevator system having at least one elevator car with an upper edge running approximately parallel to a horizontal plane, includes a deflector plate arranged on the upper edge of the elevator car at at least one angle of inclination to the horizontal plane and inclined against a shaft wall in which shaft doors are arranged, so that extinguishing water, which falls onto the elevator car is directed at least partially from the deflector plate against the upper edge and against the shaft wall in which the shaft doors are arranged.
HOISTWAY MODULE FOR FORMING A HOISTWAY COMPOSED OF STACKED HOISTWAY MODULES FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A hoistway module that forms a portion of a hoistway of an elevator installation includes a first side wall having a door opening, a second side wall adjoining the first side wall at an angle other than 180 and a hoistway door arranged in the door opening and having a door sill. The door sill is fixed to the second side wall by a final door sill mount.
Elevator trench drain
A trench drain includes a trench, a grating seat and a grating hingedly connected to the trench. The trench has a base wall with peripheral side walls extending upwardly therefrom and an outwardly-extending peripheral flange. The grating seat is configured to receive the grating. The peripheral side walls of the trench have a pair of opposing elongated slots formed therein and the grating has a pair of posts on opposing ends thereof. Each of the pair of posts on the grating are received in a respective one of the pair of opposing elongated slots of the trench to establish an axis of rotation.
