GESTURE CONTROLLED DOOR OPENING FOR ELEVATORS CONSIDERING ANGULAR MOVEMENT AND ORIENTATION
20200019247 · 2020-01-16 ·

A detection system is provided. The detection system includes gesture sensors installed on front panels of a set of hall doors. The gesture sensors detect motion. The detection system includes a gesture detection unit that controls operations of the gesture sensors. The gesture detection unit analyzes the motion detected by the gesture sensors and detects a pre-determined hand gesture format. The gesture detection unit activates a door open operation for the set of hall doors in response to detecting the pre-determined hand gesture format.

FIRE-RATED SLIDING GLASS ELEVATOR DOOR

A fire-rated sliding elevator glass door is provided. The door includes a face panel, a liner, a fire-rated glass panel, and a retainer that retains the glass panel in the door frame. The elevator door is configured to pass a 90-minute fire rating test. The elevator door can be implemented as a single-speed side open elevator door, a single-speed center open elevator door, a two-speed side opening sliding elevator door, or a two-speed center opening sliding elevator door. A method of constructing the fire-rated elevator door is provided.

System comprising multiple digital cameras viewing a large scene

Multiple digital cameras view a large scene, such as a part of a city. Some of the cameras view different parts of that scene, and video feeds from the cameras are processed at a computer to generate a photo-realistic synthetic 3D model of the scene. This enables the scene to be viewed from any viewing angle, including angles that the original, real cameras do not occupyi.e. as though viewed from a virtual camera that can be positioned in any arbitrary position. The 3D model combines both static elements that do not alter in real-time, and also dynamic elements that do alter in real-time or near real-time.

LOWER GUIDING SYSTEM OF AN ELEVATOR PANEL AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM
20190177128 · 2019-06-13 ·

A lower guide assembly for an elevator landing door system, including: a landing door plate; an anti-off component; and a sill component that includes: a base; and a first support and a second support that are detachably mounted on the base. The first support, the second support and the base form a guide slot that extends along a translating direction of the landing door plate, the width of a space of the guide slot that is used to accommodate the body of the anti-off component is less than the width of the head of the anti-off component, the base is provided with a first protrusion that extends toward the first support at an outer side near the first support, and the first support is provided with a recess used to accommodate the first protrusion.

ELEVATOR DOOR LEAF AND MANUFACTURING PROCEDURE
20190161323 · 2019-05-30 ·

An elevator door leaf formed by a front panel and a rear panel separated from each other but fitted into each other at their longitudinal edges by hemming or seaming, determining a space between the front panel and rear panel that is occupied by an expandable and hardenable foam that is injected under pressure into said space, such that it facilitates the attachment between at least two of the paired longitudinal edges created by fitting the front and rear panels together.

Sheet metal base panel for use in elevators

A sheet metal base panel for use in elevators is disclosed wherein the said base panel is made from sheet metal of low thickness without compromising its structural integrity, by a specialised hemming process. The said base panel is constructed from a single sheet of metal and incorporates the top and bottom header to form a unitary component. The construction is such that the headers can be positioned either way and hence possesses rotational symmetry which enables in easier installation. This is achieved by a special bending of the base panel on all edges of both the top side and bottom side, four timesa first 90? bending (1a) followed by a second 90? bending (1b), a third 90? bending (1c) and a fourth 180? hemming (1d) of the open edge formed after the third 90? bending (1c).

Elevator car with door system

The invention is an elevator car, with a door system, for with a bottom-driven elevator, where it does not play a structural role in lifting, but provides aesthetics and safety to the passengers. The elevator car comprises lightweight materials. The car comprises a frame and a door system. The door system comprises at least one elevator door and at least one pulley system. The pulley system is attached to the frame and the elevator door is attached to the pulley system, such that the elevator door rotates horizontally around the frame when the pulley system is engaged. The elevator door comprises a pliable material, such as ballistic nylon. The elevator car can have one, two, three, or four door openings, including two adjacent door openings. Finally, the system may also include at least one light curtain that transmits signals to an elevator control system.

Rack and chain driven elevator

The invention is an elevator. The elevator is driven by a rack and a chain. The elevator also comprises a transportable frame, a floor, and an elevator shaft. The purpose of the invention is, by using a rack and chain lifting device to drive the elevator, to allow the elevator to be driven from the bottom. Driving the elevator from the bottom makes the structural integrity of the elevator box unnecessary, so that the elevator box can be replaced with an elevator box faade and a fabric door, making the elevator lighter and more economical. In addition, the design of the elevator allows for adjacent doors, battery power, and voice control.
