Modular Activity Board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.
WEARABLE DEVICES WITH SPORTS IMPLEMENTS
Disclosed herein are improved wearable devices with sports implements (e.g., hockey stick, tennis racket, golf club, etc.). A wearable device can be worn on any suitable part of a user's body (e.g., foot, leg, arm, etc.) or, alternatively, over a device (e.g., shoe) already worn on the user. The wearable device can be permanently affixed to a sports implement or, alternatively, can be adaptable with a sports implement selectable from a set of interchangeable sports implements. Such interchangeability can be provided by a coupling mechanism that is configured to detachably couple the wearable device to the sports implement. The coupling mechanism can include a receiver base integrated to a body of the wearable device and a complementary accessory base of the sports implement.
DRIVE MODULE FOR A SKATEBOARD AND SET AND SKATEBOARD WITH SUCH A DRIVE MODULE
A drive module for a skateboard, the drive module comprising at least one axle with at least one wheel which is or can be driven by an electric motor, and a frame, which is connected to the axle and has a receiving space for an energy storage unit, in particular for a secondary battery, the drive module being replaceably connectible to the skateboard. Also, a set and a skateboard comprising the drive module.
Motorized wheel assembly
A motorized wheel assembly adaptable to skateboards provides drive motor and power sources and controls for the directed control of forward or backward propulsion of the skateboard using throttle and braking controls, the motorized wheel, and all skateboard wheels. Weight transfer assemblies for the motorized wheel transfer a portion of a skateboard rider's weight through the front mounted motorized wheel to the ground surface creating sufficient traction for the motorized wheel to propel the skateboard. One weight transfer assembly embodiment provides a pivoting, compression based mounting bracket. Separate embodiments of the weight transfer assemblies include single or dual shock absorbers.
Shoe with Interchangeable Sole
The convertible shoe with interchangeable sole consists of an upper to hold the foot and an interchangeable outsole. There is an attachment surface on the underside of the upper and an attachment surface on the topside of the outsole, and the two attachment surfaces are paired and configured to securely attach the two components while also being detachable to allow for the interchange of different outsoles having different tread surfaces. The attachment surfaces are a non-flat contoured shape. There are two protruding ridges on one surface, one substantially under the toe and the other under the heel and part of the arch. These mate with a recessed channel on the other surface. There is also attachment material on both surfaces that are mated and provide a secure attachment.
Splitboard binding
The present disclosure includes a binding apparatus for use on a splitboard. The binding apparatus may be used to change the splitboard between a snowboard for riding downhill in a ride mode and touring skis for climbing up a hill in a tour mode. The binding apparatus can include at least one board joining device. The binding apparatus can also include a binding interface configured to receive a boot and selectively attach to a ride mode interface in a snowboard configuration and to a tour mode interface in a ski configuration.
Snowboard Conversion Kit
In described embodiments, a snowboard conversion kit includes a first strap assembly having a first hollow strap sleeve having a first end, a second end, distal from the first end, and a cutout between the first end and the second end. A first strap has a first strap end that extends into the first hollow strap sleeve from the first end and a second strap end that extends into the first hollow strap sleeve from the second end. The first strap and the first strap sleeve form a loop. A first strap securing assembly is adapted to extend through the first hollow strap sleeve and secure the first hollow strap sleeve to a snowboard. A second strap assembly, similar to the first strap assembly is also provided.
Splitboard binding with step in rear securing feature and locking crampon
Splitboard binding systems and assemblies for use in ski mode or snowboard mode. Left and right bottom rails are attached to the bottom surface of a base plate. Each rails may have a circular hook at a forward end for attachment to a toe bracket in a ski mode. The rails and base plate define channels for slidable attachment to pucks disposed on the gliding board in snowboard mode. A securing lever disposed near the rear end of the binding with a securing member disposed on the lower surface thereof may be rotated into a downwards position so the securing member resides below the base plate to secure the binding in position when installed on pucks in a snowboard mode. Crampon assemblies and sliding heel locks for use with the binding assembly are aso disclosed.
Snowboard combination boot and binding system
The present invention contemplates a binding system for a snowboards and the like. The system includes a soft-soled boot having a hardened exterior shell consisting of a toe portion and a heel portion, which are linked by at least one sidewall portion. The toe and heel portions include two toe and two heel pegs respectively. The boot includes an instep portion having instep cables for adjusting the boot to the wearer and the cables are adjusted by grommets and tightened in position by at least one resting bar. The binding has a base plate for connecting to the snowboard. The base plate further supports a pair of toe hooks adapted to engage the toe pegs and a pair of heel peg levers adapted to releasably engage the heel pegs of the boot. A grappling hook and ratchet mechanism grabs the resting bar on the boot.
Splitboard joining device
Some embodiments disclosed herein provide an apparatus for joining two skis to form a splitboard. The apparatus can comprise a first attachment portion configured to attach to a first ski and a second attachment portion configured to attach to a second ski. The first attachment portion and the second attachment portion can be configured to engage to prevent splitboard skis from moving up and down relative to each other, from moving apart in a direction perpendicular to a seam of the splitboard, from sliding relative to each other in a direction parallel to the seam, and from rotating about the seam of the splitboard.
