A people conveyor (2) comprises at least one belt (4) extending in a longitudinal conveying direction, a plurality of webs (6) attached to the belt (4), and a plurality of transportation elements (14). Each of the transportation elements (14) comprises at least one connection portion (20). The connection portions (20) extend laterally from the transportation elements (14) and are configured for being connected with at least one of the webs (6) for attaching the respective transportation element (14) to the belt (4).

A step chain for driving steps of an escalator may include link plates, chain pins, chain bushes, and buffer rollers that are connected to one another to form chain links, which can be moved in relation to one another. The step chain may also include running rollers disposed outside the chain links. The buffer rollers may each be designed in the form of a multi-component part that comprises at least one inner, dimensionally stable sliding component, by way of which the buffer rollers can be arranged in a rotatable manner, respectively, on the chain bushes, and an outer, damping component that is designed to be more elastically deformable than the sliding component. The step chain may be utilized in a person-conveyor device, such as an escalator or a moving walkway, for example.

A safety chain for conveyor pallets may comprise bent links arranged in alternating fashion with straight links. Each of the bent links may have two ends with a wheel disposed at each end. Each consecutive bent link and straight link may be joined at an articulation point. The safety chain may also comprise arms extending from each articulation point, wherein a conveyor pallet may be coupled to each arm. Further, roller guides that follow a trajectory of the safety chain may be arranged on one of two sides of the safety chain. The roller guides may rotate the wheels of the bent links. The articulation points enable rotation and position change of the bent links and the straight links so as to increase or decrease a distance between consecutive conveyor pallets according to a change of speed of a conveyor.

An escalator has a step belt or moving walkway has a plate belt, wherein the belt includes at least one link chain arranged to circulate between a first deflecting region and a second deflecting region of the escalator or the moving walkway. Guide rollers as well as steps or plates are arranged at the link chain. The link chain additionally includes system rollers. The guide rollers and the system rollers are arranged on at least three tracks lying adjacent to one another with respect to a direction of circulation of the link chain, wherein one of the tracks is occupied by the guide rollers and at least two of the tracks are occupied by the system rollers.

An escalator has a step belt or moving walkway has a plate belt, wherein the belt includes at least one link chain arranged to circulate between a first deflecting region and a second deflecting region of the escalator or the moving walkway. Guide rollers as well as steps or plates are arranged at the link chain. The link chain additionally includes system rollers. The guide rollers and the system rollers are arranged on at least three tracks lying adjacent to one another with respect to a direction of circulation of the link chain, wherein one of the tracks is occupied by the guide rollers and at least two of the tracks are occupied by the system rollers.

An automatic step cleaning device for a passenger conveyor and a passenger conveyor are disclosed. The automatic step cleaning device is provided for a passenger conveyor in which a step chain is in transmission connection with a drive chain to receive power from a drive portion for driving steps to operate, which includes: a base, arranged adjacent to a step that is in a flipped state during operation; a rotating shaft, mounted on the base and arranged in the drive chain to be driven to rotate synchronously with the step chain; and a first cleaning member, mounted on the rotating shaft and configured to perform a cleaning operation on the steps currently passing through the rotating shaft in a flipped state when the rotating shaft is driven to rotate.
