A method, system and apparatus for carrying a user including a board for supporting the user, a plurality of ground-contacting members coupled with the board, a motorized drive assembly coupled with the ground-contacting members and one or more sensors coupled with the drive assembly. In operation, the drive assembly adjusts the velocity of the ground-contacting member based on one or more distances of the board from a surface below the board as detected by the sensors.

A collapsible ski, by which the front part and a rear part of the ski, when aligned, in such position fixed by a platform, which is by hinges interconnected with a bearing plate, which is attached onto a top surface of the front part of the ski and is rotatable around geometric axis, which extends perpendicularly with respect to the top surface of the ski.

A modular ramp system includes a ramp component and a connector releasably joined to the ramp component. The ramp component has first and second inclined surfaces and a connecting portion positioned between the first and second inclined surfaces. The connector has a bottom side formed with a first and second coupling section connectible to the connecting portion. The connector is positionable in a first position in which one of the first and second coupling sections is releasably joined to the connecting portion of the ramp component and the other of the first and second coupling sections is adapted to releasably couple to a ramp or an external structure, and a second position in which the first and second coupling sections are releasably joined to connecting portion of the ramp component.

An anchor includes a frame assembly and a removable cover plug. The frame assembly includes an access frame having a bottom and a wall defining an upper opening and a cavity therein, a first flexible seal extends above the upper opening of the wall, and at least one vertical member is in communication with the cavity of the access frame. The plug is operable for covering opening in the access frame. The plug includes a platform for supporting synthetic turf on the platform. When the plug is removed, at least one stanchion of a base, a home plate, a double base, or a pitcher's rubber is engageable with the vertical member.

A skating track, in particular of the skateboard ramp type, includes: a self-supporting carrier structure of rigid foam, able to rest on the ground; and a skating surface attached to the carrier structure. The carrier structure has mortises and tenons embedded in the mortises. The skating surface is fixed to the tenons, the tenons and the mortises coupling the skating surface on the carrier structure and holding it in position.

An apparatus configured to secure multiple items by means of a single lock and multiple locking cables is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a shaft sized to slide within a sleeve, each of the shaft and the sleeve comprising holes formed in their outer surfaces. The sleeve and the shaft are sized for disposition in a threading alignment position and a locking alignment position. The threading alignment position provides passages through which locking cables coupled to locking lugs may be passed. The locking alignment position creates a constriction in each threading passage, and also provides a locking passage sized to accept a locking member such as the shackle of a padlock. Insertion of a locking member maintains the constriction in the threading passages, thereby preventing removal of the locking cables.

A latching device that joins splitboard skis along lengthwise edges. The latching device can include a bracket assembly and a crossbar assembly. The bracket assembly can be secured to a first splitboard ski. The crossbar assembly can be secured to a second splitboard ski. The crossbar assembly can include a crossbar and a lever rotationally coupled to the crossbar. The bracket assembly can include a bracket. Rotating the lever can apply a compressive force between the lever and the inside edge of the bracket applying a holding force between the first splitboard ski and the second splitboard ski. With the splitboard skis disengaged, the bracket assembly and crossbar assembly can be stowed completely within their respective splitboard ski perimeter boundaries.

A synthetic ice panel system for use on a ground surface includes plurality of substantially flat panels that mutually interlock to form a rink, such as for ice skating. Each panel includes a top surface, a bottom surface adapted for resting on the ground surface, and a peripheral edge. The peripheral edge includes a plurality of interlocking tabs and recesses operative to mutually interlock with adjacent panels. Each panel is preferably made with a high-density polymer infused with a lubricant. As such, ice skates and the like are able to slide with relatively low friction on the top surface of the panel. Weather permitting; the panels may be inverted in some embodiments wherein the bottom surface of each panel includes a cooling channel containing a cooling tube through which a coolant flows to freeze water resting on the panel, thereby forming a layer of ice above the panel.
