SYSTEM FOR A FOLDING SKATEBOARD WITH HANDS FREE FOLDING OPERATION
The system and method invention herein disclosed and claimed is a folding skateboard. It can be folded while at rest, on the ground, by applying pressure to one end as the bi-folding deck portions pivot toward one another and come to rest in a fully folded position.
Pitch-propelled vehicle
A method, system and apparatus for carrying a user including a board for supporting the user, a ground-contacting member coupled with the board, a motorized drive assembly coupled with the ground-contacting member and one or more sensors coupled with the drive assembly. In operation, the drive assembly adjusts the velocity of the ground-contacting member based on one or more distances of the board from a surface below the board as detected by the sensors. As a result, the system is able to maintain a desired velocity when ascending, descending or traversing uneven ground without the need for excessive and sometimes impossible tilting of the board.
SPLITBOARD JOINING DEVICE
Some embodiments disclosed herein provide an apparatus for joining two skis to form a splitboard. The apparatus can comprise a first attachment portion configured to attach to a first ski and a second attachment portion configured to attach to a second ski. The first attachment portion and the second attachment portion can be configured to engage to prevent splitboard skis from moving up and down relative to each other, from moving apart in a direction perpendicular to a seam of the splitboard, from sliding relative to each other in a direction parallel to the seam, and from rotating about the seam of the splitboard.
Folding pole having a tubular sleeve
A pole comprising a pole handle and a pole tip, with at least two tube portions located therebetween, which in an assembled state of the pole are connected to one another by means of insertion connections aligned along a longitudinal pole axis A. At least one of the plug connections is realized on a second tube portion by way of a form-fit and/or force-fit locking device, wherein the second tube portion has a smaller the same outer diameter than the inner diameter of a first tube portion, and which can be inserted into the first tube portion, and which can be fixed in the relative axial position by means of the form-fit locking device. On at least one of the plug connections, a tubular sleeve having a clamping element in a receiving groove is arranged between the tubular sleeve and the lower end of the first tubular portion.
Transportation vehicle
A personal transportation vehicle comprises a carrier, a control device, a first pair of wheels and a second pair of wheels, wherein the first pair of wheels are fixed in a direction and the second pair of wheels are mounted on swivels disposed below the carrier, each of the first pair of wheels and the second pair of wheels comprises a first wheel and a second wheel, and the first pair of wheels and the second pair of wheels are arranged aligned and parallel to each other below the carrier, a first controller, a first driving device for driving the first wheel of the first pair of wheels, a second controller and a second driving device for driving the second wheel of the first pair of wheels. The control device is configured to transmit signals to the first controller and the second controller to control the first driving device and the second driving device, such that the second pair of wheels are swiveled and driven by a difference between the rotational speeds of the first wheel and the second wheel of the first pair of wheels to determine a movement direction of the transportation vehicle.
Folding recreational board
A foldable recreational board that can be formed into a ridable board for riding and then folded when finished for easy transportation or storage. The foldable recreational board has foam sections covered by a flexible skin. The flexible skin includes a closing and opening mechanism. When the closing and opening mechanism is closed the skin is held very tight around the foam sections so that the foam sections are squeezed together tightly to form a ridable board. When the closing and opening mechanism is opened, pressure is released from the foam sections and the recreational board can be folded. In a preferred embodiment there are three foam sections and the opening and closing mechanism is two zippers attached to a inch thick flexible neoprene skin.
PORTABLE FOLDING ELECTRIC SKATEBOARD
A portable skateboard, comprising a deck defined by a first board segment and a second board segment, each at least one wheel assembly attached to a bottom surface, a hinge mechanism disposed on the bottom surfaces of the board segments, configured to rotate the board segments along a lateral axis, and a locking mechanism having a latch configured to interfere with the rotation of the hinge mechanism, selectively securing the first board segment and the second board segment in an unfolded configuration, wherein top surfaces of the board segments form a continuous planar surface for standing thereon, and in a folded configuration, wherein the bottom surfaces of the first board segment and the second board segment are aligned, with the respective wheel assemblies adjacent to one another along a vertical axis.
COLLAPSIBLE SNOWSHOES AND METHODS THEREOF
The present invention relates to collapsible snowshoes. In one embodiment, a collapsible snowshoe includes a collapsible frame, a webbing and a binding. The collapsible snowshoe frame includes a first pair of bars, a second pair of bars, a pair of joints and a center bar securing the pair of joints to each other. The pair of joints is coupled to the corresponding first end of each of the first pair of bars, and is also coupled to the corresponding first end of each of the second pair of bars.
Motorized walking shoes
A motorized personal transportation article is provided to transport a person by wearing a pair of power-assisted motorized shoes, used in a normal forward walking action that provides a supplementary walking speed adjusted based on a user intended walking speed, even the intended speed changes during a mid-step. The sole of each of the shoes houses a relatively stiff plate coupled with conveyor assemblies in the toe and heel sections, respectively, which are connected by a relatively flexible portion. The assembly is designed to neutralize forces acting to disrupt its operation during walking while the flexible portion assists in bending the shoe naturally to maintain the natural walking balance and movement. Further, the flexible portion may equip with ribs or hinges for easier bending than twisting. The front and rear relatively stiff plates may make of twistable and bendable materials but to a lesser extent than the flexible portion.
SKATES WITH A STOWABLE AND/OR REMOVABLE ROLLER, BLADE, SKI, OR TRACK ASSEMBLY, AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
A skate with a stowable and/or removable roller, blade, ski, or track assembly. A skate has: a shoe; a guiding part mounted to the shoe; a roller, blade, ski, or track assembly mounted to move along the guiding part between a deployed position and a stowed position adjacent a calf or ankle part of the shoe; and a handle connected to move the roller, blade, ski, or track assembly between the deployed position and the stowed position. Related methods include moving the roller, blade, ski, or track assembly between the positions, and locking or unlocking the assembly in either position, for example using a handle.
