A mechanism is described for facilitating a smart hybrid selfie cane. An apparatus of embodiments, as described herein, includes a hybrid selfie cane to serve as at least one of a selfie stick and a cane, wherein the hybrid selfie cane includes the selfie stick coupled to the cane.

The present invention relates to collapsible snowshoes. In one embodiment, a collapsible snowshoe includes a collapsible frame, a webbing and a binding. The collapsible snowshoe frame includes a first pair of bars, a second pair of bars, a pair of joints and a center bar securing the pair of joints to each other. The second pair of bars are each collapsible and include bar sections that are removably coupled to each other. The pair of joints is coupled to the corresponding first end of each of the first pair of bars, and is also coupled to the corresponding first end of each of the second pair of bars.

A collapsible stunt ramp apparatus is provided. The collapsible stunt ramp apparatus includes a base support structure and a number of base support rods. The base support structure includes a number of slots. The slots are designed to receive the base support rods. The collapsible stunt ramp apparatus also includes a number of vertical support beams. The number of vertical support beams includes a pair of intermediate support beams that are designed to connect to the base support rods. The invention relates to a folding ski having an articulated connection. The technical problem is to configure a folding ski structure that will act as a classic ski, which means that the assembled structure of the folding ski will act as a uniform support. The folding ski of the invention comprises a ski front section, a ski rear section, an articulated connection that inseparably connects the ski front section with the rear section, a connecting plate intended to strengthen the articulated connection of the ski, the connecting plate comprising a front and rear base plate and a bridging plate, wherein a plurality of ribs and/or grooves in the shape of a circular arc are formed on the upper side of the front base plate and the rear base plate and a plurality of grooves and/or ribs are formed on the bottom side of the bridging plate so that each pair of a rib and a groove forms a positive lock connection that transfers longitudinal shear forces, and at least a part of the ribs is formed with at least one flap and the corresponding groove is formed with a notch which receives a flap so as to form a positive lock connection which also transfers vertical forces.

A snowboard binding including a baseplate, a bearing highback rotatable relative to the baseplate, a pedal to operate the bearing highback at clip-in between an opening position and a closing position and a locking element to lock the rotation of the bearing highback relative to the baseplate in closing position against the elastic return of a lever. The locking element includes two ratchet notches with the lever. The snowboard binding includes a lug that is received into a fork of the locking element with notches or of the lever to rotate the locking element with notches or the lever by unlocking the lever from one of the notches and by locking it with the other notch at clip-in.

A ski winter sports device for sliding down a hill. The ski winter sports device includes a first ski, a second ski and a third ski, a standing device on which a user can stand, a holding device, and a frame. The first and second skis are arrangeable on the standing device next to each other in a direction of travel so that the first ski is available for a first foot of the user and the second ski is available for a second foot of the user. The holding device can be held by at least one hand of the user. The frame connects the standing device to the holding device. The frame is connected to the standing device in a relatively movable manner. The frame and the standing device are foldable relative to each other so that a spatial volume of the ski winter sports device is reducible.

There exists a number of youth development programs centered on sports programming. Some of these programs operate on a platform of revitalizing neighborhood spaces to improve community engagement by creating a space for youth to enjoy sports. Oftentimes these neighborhood spaces include restrictions or the surrounding community has needs (like lighting and seating) which are unmet or under-met. Envisioned is a system approach to addressing these needs wherein a wide variety of custom solutions can be produced from prefabricated, modular, and portable components that interface with existing amenities (if any) so to enrich the youth experience and better achieve program objectives. This modular approach provides a common infrastructure for different spaces, different sports, and different levels of play.

The invention relates to a ski binding including a front jaw and a rear jaw for holding the sole of a ski boot. The front jaw includes a base, via which the front jaw can be connected to a ski, a first holding device for connecting the boot to the ski at the front end of the boot for ascending, and a second holding device for connecting the ski boot to the ski at the front end of the boot for descending. The second holding device exhibits a first configuration for descending, in which the second holding device is in contact with the front end of the sole of the ski boot, and a second configuration for ascending, in which the second holding device is out of contact with the front end of the sole of the ski boot.
