DISTRIBUTED PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING ELEVATOR CALL REQUEST
A distributed processing system for processing an elevator call, a method for processing an elevator call using the distributed processing system, and a computer readable storage medium on which a computer program for realizing an elevator call generation method is stored. A distributed processing system for processing an elevator call includes a plurality of wireless communication modules deployed in an elevator service area, each of the wireless communication modules is associated with one or more call units and configured to: perform a call assignment operation in response to an elevator call from a terminal device specifying it as a target wireless communication module; and return a message about call assignment to the terminal device.
DETERMINING FLOOR NAME BASED ON AUDIO AND/OR VISUAL SAMPLES
A processor obtains an audio sample captured by an audio sensor associated with a device and/or image data captured by an image sensor associated with the device. The image data comprises a representation of one or more elevator buttons. The processor analyzes the audio sample to identify a floor name indicator in the audio sample and/or the image data to identify an activated elevator button from among the one or more elevator buttons represented by the image data; and determines a floor name based on the floor name indicator identified in the analyzed audio sample and/or a floor name indicator associated with the identified activated elevator button in accordance with the analyzed image data. The processor causes the determined floor name to be stored and/or provided for positioning purposes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPATCHING ELEVATORS
A method for dispatching a plurality of elevator cars that includes receiving a call for at least one of the plurality of elevator cars. The call is from a first location of a plurality of locations. The method includes determining an occupant capacity for each of the plurality of elevator cars by determining a number of occupants within the plurality of elevator cars and determining a number of calls assigned to the plurality of elevator cars and positioned between a current location of the plurality of elevator cars and the first location. The method includes assigning the call from the first location to a first elevator car with an available occupant capacity that is greater than the occupant capacity of the plurality of elevator cars.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HANDS-FREE OPERATION OF ELEVATOR
A system and method is presented for hands-free operation of elevator using a smart phone or like device to display one or more colours that are read by a colour-detection device mounted in an elevator cabin and at each elevator landing. Different colours can be displayed by the smart phone or like device and detected by the colour-detection device where different can represent different commands to operate the elevator.
Device and Method for Elevator Scheduling
An elevator has an elevator scheduling assembly. The elevator scheduling assembly may include elevator controllers that pressure elevator buttons to call an elevator car to a floor in a building. The elevator scheduling assembly may also include a mobile user controller that allows a user to remotely call an elevator car.
ELEVATOR INTERACTION IN PUBLIC SPACES
In methods and a system for enabling temporary interaction between a user device of a passenger and an elevator or an elevator group provided for public use in a public space, a database is maintained that includes information on at least one elevator or elevator group available for public use. A user device sends a request message that includes validation information. The request message is validated by verifying that the unique identification of the elevator or elevator group in said validation information is among said at least one elevator or elevator group available for public and that geographical locations of the user device and the elevator or elevator group fulfill a predefined proximity criterion. If the request message is deemed valid, temporary access is granted to an elevator application running on the user device for entering at least one call for elevator service via an elevator call API.
ELEVATOR OPERATING DEVICE HAVING TWO CALL INPUT DEVICES DISPOSED SEPARATE FROM EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT TO PASSENGERS
An elevator operating device for inputting a travel request in an elevator system has a first call input device that is communicatively connected to a central control device of the elevator operating device. The first call input device comprises buttons that are each assigned to a floor of a building and are disposed so as to be accessible to a first passenger for inputting a destination floor. A second call input device of the elevator operating device is communicatively connected to the central control device and disposed so as to be accessible to a second passenger for inputting a destination floor. The first call input device and the second call input device are disposed at a distance from each other on the passenger side.
Sanitary operational panel for choosing floor used for elevating equipment
A floor selection operation panel for elevating equipment may include a panel including an opening, an electric compartment room disposed at a rear side of the panel, and a floor selection button disposed inside the electric compartment. The floor selection button may include a button body including a first body and a second body selectively exposed to the outside through the opening, a rotation shaft for rotating the button body, a printed circuit board disposed at a rear side of the button body, the printed circuit board including a switch and a germicidal lamp irradiating light toward the button body, and an elastic member disposed between the rotation shaft and the first body and between the rotation shaft and the second body.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TOUCHLESS ELEVATOR CAB REQUESTS
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a system for a touchless request for an elevator cab. The system for a touchless request for an elevator cab includes an elevator controller, a processor communicatively coupled to the elevator controller, and a storage medium in communication with the processor comprising programming instructions cause the processor to: receive a unique identification from a user, determine a current floor that the unique identification was provided, access a data storage device to determine a destination floor access permission based on the unique identification, determine a landing to travel based on the destination floor access permission, send an elevator cab request command to the elevator controller to request the elevator cab to the current floor and to travel to the landing, and generate a notification for the elevator cab that is assigned to travel between the current floor and the landing.
OPERATING METHOD FOR AN ELEVATOR OPERATING DEVICE WITH A TOUCH-SENSITIVE SCREEN SYSTEM
An elevator operating device for a floor comprises a touch-sensitive screen. Call symbols are displayed on a user interface, one of which has to be touched in order to input a character stored for this call symbol. In order to enter a two-digit destination floor, the passenger leaves their finger on the touch surface after inputting a first character, whereby the elevator operating device recognizes that the passenger has limited vision. The elevator operating device registers a second character if it detects a confirmation action for the second character without recognizing that the finger has been lifted from the touch surface. As long as the finger is touching the touch surface, no destination call is generated; the destination call is only generated when the passenger lifts their finger, thus indicating that the input has been completed.
