ROUTE PLANNING ON THE BASIS OF EXPECTED PASSENGER NUMBER
In an elevator System with a destination call control device, a first destination call being input on a floor by a first passenger at a first point in time is evaluated in order to determine first call information comprising data on a call input floor and/or a destination floor. The first call information determines if a number of additional passengers are to be assigned to the first destination call resulting in an additional space requirement in an elevator car handling the first destination call. Information on the additional space requirement is generated if a number of additional passengers are to be assigned to the first destination call. If this is the case, the first destination call is allocated with the aid of an allocation algorithm by using information on the additional space requirement in order to transport the first passenger from the call input floor to the destination floor.
Sequence triggering for automatic calls and multi segment elevator trips
A computer-implemented method a sequence triggering of a call for an elevator car of an elevator system. The elevator system including a first location device and a second location device. The computer-implemented method including detecting, by the first location device, a signal by the mobile device and detecting, by the second location device, the signal by the mobile device. The computer-implemented method also including automatically executing, by the elevator system, the call for the elevator car in response to the detection by the second location device of the signal subsequent to the detection of the signal by the first location device.
Sequence triggering for automatic calls and multi-segment elevator trips
A computer-implemented method a sequence triggering of a call for an elevator car of an elevator system. The elevator system including a first location device and a second location device. The computer-implemented method including detecting, by the mobile device, a first triggering signal by the first location device and detecting, by the mobile device, a second triggering signal by the second location device subsequent to the detection of the first triggering signal. The computer-implemented method also including automatically executing, by the mobile device, the call for the elevator car of the elevator system in response to the detection of the second triggering signal subsequent to the detection of the first triggering signal.
CALL REGISTRATION SYSTEM
A call registration system includes, for example, a gate (3), a security controller (4), a server (6), and a storage device (5). The security controller (4) includes, for example, a retaining unit (42), a determining unit (41), and a requesting unit (43). When the determining unit (41) determines that information concerning a selected permission floor is not retained by the retaining unit (42), the requesting unit (43) requests a group controller (1) to perform call registration for a normal use floor. When the determining unit (41) determines that the information concerning the selected permission floor is retained by the retaining unit (42), the requesting unit (43) requests the group controller (1) to perform call registration for the selected permission floor.
INTERFACE DEVICE, AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OF DISPLAYING OF A PLURALITY OF DESTINATION CALLS
An interface device for controlling displaying of a plurality of destination calls includes an input configured to receive user input for making one or more destination calls, a controller entity configured to record made destination calls, and at least one display capable of displaying simultaneously a pre-determined number of destination calls. The predetermined number is two or more. The at least one display is configured to display simultaneously the predetermined number of most recent destination calls made from said interface device. An elevator system and a method for controlling displaying of a plurality of destination calls include the interface device.
INTERFACE DEVICE, AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAYING OF A DESTINATION CALL
An interface device for controlling displaying of a destination call includes an input configured to receive input information comprising a passenger ID, a controller entity, configured to retrieve the destination call corresponding to the passenger ID, and at least one display configured to display the retrieved destination call. An elevator system and a method for controlling displaying of a destination call include the interface device.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
A method for operating an elevator including operating the elevator in a pre-programmed sequence to stop at pre-designated floors in a predetermined order, upon receipt of an indication that a user at a given floor wishes to ride the elevator, temporarily not performing part of the pre-programmed sequence in order to arrive at the given floor with minimum delay and thereafter, in the absence of another indication that a user wishes to ride the elevator, continuing to temporarily not perform part of the pre-programmed sequence in order to arrive at a pre-designated egress floor with minimum delay and thereafter operating the elevator in the pre-programmed sequence including performing the part of the pre-programmed sequence to stop at pre-designated floors at pre-programmed times until receipt of an indication that a user at a given floor wishes to ride the elevator.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION, PASSENGER GUIDING SYSTEM FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION AND ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A method for operating an elevator installation includes receiving a destination call of a passenger at a control unit and selecting an elevator car from a set of available elevator cars for transporting the passenger. The elevator car is selected such that elevator car spacing rules are observed. The method further includes determining an arrival time of the selected elevator car at the boarding floor, and determining a first arrival time of the passenger at an elevator landing corresponding to the selected elevator car on the boarding floor. The method includes directing, under the proviso that the first arrival time of the passenger at the elevator landing precedes the arrival time of the selected elevator car by a defined margin, the passenger to a waiting zone of a set of available waiting zones. The waiting zone is selected such that waiting zone spacing rules are observed.
Elevator service request using user device with filtered destination floor selection
Methods and systems for making elevator service requests in a building having an elevator system, the method including, determining a departure floor, populating, by a computing device comprising a processor, a destination floor list with at least one destination floor and displaying the destination floor list on a user device, the destination floor list limited to a subset of all possible destination floors, and receiving at least one user input indicating a selection of a destination floor by a user and indicating a new elevator service request based on the determination of a departure floor and the selection of a destination floor. The method also includes generating an elevator service request packet based on the new elevator service request and transmitting the elevator service request packet to an elevator controller to make an elevator service request.
MODERNIZATION OF AN ELEVATOR GROUP
Methods for the modernization of an elevator group which includes a plurality of elevators each with a car and an elevator controller for controlling the respective car. At least one input terminal is mounted for acquiring destination call signals and a group computer is installed in the course of the modernization process. The group computer is suitable for evaluation of the destination call signals as well as for the output of at least one first control signal. For each elevator furthermore a respective control unit is installed for reading in the first control signal and a control module is installed at the respective car for issuing an internal call for the respective car initiated by the first control signal.
