The method further includes determining a number of occupants within the first elevator car is greater than at least a second elevator car of a plurality of elevator cars after the first elevator car stopped at the intermediate location, and directing the first elevator car to a second destination location different from the first destination location.

An elevator control apparatus may include a free space detector configured to detect the free space within the elevator based on CCTV within an elevator and data receive by a robot, a boarding demand prediction unit configured to predict a boarding demand of the platform based on platform monitoring data, and an elevator controller configured to determine whether to stop at the platform based on the boarding demand and the free space, where the elevator controller may be configured to predict the number of passengers and the number of robots that can be boarded and provide them to the corresponding platform when it has determined to stop, and to provide a non-stop notification to the corresponding platform when it has determined not to stop.

Provided are embodiments for identifying waiting passengers outside an elevator using deep learning and machine learning and automatically supporting social distancing for elevator passengers. Embodiments include receiving a call request from an elevator floor; capturing an image of the elevator floor registering the call request responsive to receiving the call request; and determining, from the image, a presence of one or more waiting passengers on the elevator floor registering the call request. Embodiments also include dispatching an elevator car to the elevator floor registering the call request; and controlling the elevator car based at least in part on determining the presence of the one or more waiting passengers.
Elevator system with queueing function for robot traffic
In an elevator installation, an elevator control system is configured to receive an elevator call from a person via a call terminal and from a robot via a radio transceiver. A current transport capacity of the elevator installation is determined. An elevator call originating from the robot is recognized by the elevator control system, the call including a priority level set by a dispatcher, wherein the priority level is one of a high, a medium and a low priority range, wherein the elevator call is indicative of a boarding floor. The allocation of the elevator call originating from the robot to the elevator car is delayed if the priority level is set to the medium priority range and the current transport capacity is lower than a first threshold value, or if the priority level is set to the low priority range and the current transport capacity is lower than a second threshold value.
