A system for control of a mobility device comprising a controller for analyzing data from at least one sensor on the mobility device, wherein the data is used to determine the gait of user. The gait data is then used to provide motion command to an electric motor on the mobility device.

Illuminated trekking pole

An illumination system for a handheld support apparatus is disclosed. A variety of applications for the handheld support apparatus are considered, including, but not limited to, hiking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, trailblazing, rock climbing, and mountaineering. The illumination system can advantageously illuminate the surrounding environment of the handheld support apparatus during use. Illumination systems can be disposed within the support apparatus or on the external surface of the support apparatus. The illumination system can comprise a power source and a light-emitting device. The illumination system can further comprise at least one internal electrical conductor configured to transfer power from the power source to the light-emitting device. In some embodiments, the light-emitting from the support apparatus can be controlled by predetermined values to optimize preferred performance parameters.

Skateboard and control method thereof

The disclosure relates to a skateboard and control method thereof. A skateboard deck is fixed on an axle of the skateboard, and a first sensor group and a second sensor group are sequentially arranged on the skateboard deck in a width direction. The method includes acquiring a first pressure value of the first sensor group and a second pressure value of the second sensor group; controlling the skateboard to turn to a first direction when the first pressure value is greater than the second pressure value and a difference value between the first pressure value and the second pressure value is greater than a first threshold, and controlling the skateboard to turn to a second direction when the second pressure value is greater than the first pressure value and a difference value between the second pressure value and the first pressure value is greater than a second threshold.

Electric balance car

An electric balance car comprises a left car body, a right car body, a rotation mechanism and wheels, wherein the left car body is connected to the right car body through the rotation mechanism, the wheels are mounted on the left car body and the right car body, the axes of axles of the wheels are lower than the axis of a rotary shaft in the rotation mechanism. The electric balance car can be controlled steadily and is ingenious in structure, easy to assemble and durable.

HANDHELD CONTROLLER WITH SAFETY HARNESS ASSEMBLY
20220175123 · 2022-06-09 ·

An asymmetrically shaped handheld controller and harness assembly for securing safety accessories to the handheld controller for electric personal mobility devices (EPMDs), and a kit thereof, generally includes an asymmetrically shaped handheld controller, an adjustable and a flexible strap that is perforated along its length, releasable connectors that secure the flexible strap about the controller, and headlight and taillight assemblies. The flexible strap conforms to at least three sides of the controller and has an oblong aperture sized to allow access through the strap to a thumb control on the controller. Stabilizing side members may connect accessories including horns, bells, and mirrors to the flexible strap. The controller is configured to wirelessly connect to EPMDs. The taillight operates as a brake light.

Automatic retention apparatus

An apparatus for automatically adjusting tension on retention member to hold multiple objects together. Examples include using retention apparatus to obtain optimal fit and use of a human wearable item such as article of footwear. Sensors may be used to sense changes in movement of the article of footwear, of the person wearing it, or of a third object such as a vehicle carrying the person. A retention member may surround at least a portion of the objects, and an actuator may be included that automatically rotates a rotating member such as a gear or pulley that may be coupled to the retention member. The rotating member may be configured to automatically adjust tension on the retention member many times per second based on control signals from control logic responsive to the sensors.

Side rails for self-stabilizing, one-wheeled electric skateboards and related products
11325021 · 2022-05-10 · ·

Novel side rails for self-stabilizing, one-wheeled electric skateboards and related products are disclosed. The angled frame rails of this invention and disclosure lower the center of gravity at the contact points—i.e. a rider's feet on the footpads—by as much as possible without losing any clearance at the front and rear bumpers, and tilt the gyroscope to change the zero-degree level default position. In order to achieve this, the inventive rails herein change to a downward tilt as soon as possible after the axle bolt connection points, then tilt back up before the footpad decks and continue through the front and rear of the vehicle. In one embodiment, a five-degree downward tilt of the rails allows for an approximately one-half inch drop in the center of gravity of the vehicle, thus increasing speed, stability, and safety.

Various implementations include a skateboard truck including a baseplate, a hanger, and a kingpin. The baseplate defines has a mounting surface. The hanger includes a main portion, a pivot pin, a first branch, and a second branch. The pivot pin is disposed within a pivot cup of the baseplate. The kingpin is disposed within openings in the baseplate and hanger. The branches each have curved longitudinal axes, a first portion coupled to the main portion, and a middle portion coupling the first and second portions. The second portion of each of the branches defines an axle opening. The first portion extends from the main portion toward the middle portion in a direction away from a mounting surface plane. The second portion extends from the middle portion in a direction toward the mounting surface plane. The first portions are closer to each other than the second portions are to each other.
