DRIFTING ELECTRIC SCOOTER
The present invention relates to a drifting electric scooter and, more specifically, to a drifting electric scooter, wherein: a sensor unit is installed at a controller and the movement of a scooter is controlled according to the moving direction and angle of the controller, and thus a short control section for acceleration and stopping of a conventional electric scooter is widened, so that the problems, such as abrupt start and abrupt stop, of the conventional electric scooter can be solved; the drifting electric scooter allows riders to more precisely control the speed and enjoy riding such that the riders can easily and safely control acceleration and stopping by simple upward/downward movement of the controller; a human body detection sensor is attached to a handle portion of the controller, and thus the scooter stops to prevent malfunction of the scooter when the controller is separated from a user's hand, so that safety is ensured and thus safe riding is possible; and multiple switches for selecting various riding modes are installed at the controller, so that more pleasant and interesting riding than in conventional scooter riding is possible.
SKEEBOARD AUTOMATIC
A user controlled power assisted device to automate snowboard and wideboard recreational snow devices to make turning easier and more consistent for the user, while viewing the line of travel straight ahead instead of the conventional sideways view.
The user simply presses one foot or the other down to enable the proper edging to effect the desired turn. The user's foot pressing rotates the control shaft, which electronically communicates via the pot, motor controller, battery, and motor. The motor then proportionally rotates the drive shaft accordingly to rotate the device longitudinally which provides proper edging to effect the desired turn. The motor rotates around the control shaft to reduce torque backpressure on the board.
HANDLES FOR POLES AND STICKS
A handle 10 for a pole that houses within its body 12 a power means housing 20, the housing 20 having an electrical power storage means 50 where a device can be connected to the handle 10 and supplied with electrical energy from the storage means 50. Due to increased demands of portable electricity, during outdoor activities, the handle 10 allows a means to easily carry and supply electricity for devices.
SEMI-AUTONOMOUS WEB ENABLED SKATE RECONDITIONING DEVICE, SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A system for reconditioning an ice skate includes an ice skate sharpening assembly having a housing defining a slot, and an ice skate sharpening device positioned within the housing, the slot configured to receive a portion of an ice skate, the portion of the ice skate configured to engage with the ice skate sharpening device. A user interface is in communication with the ice skate sharpening assembly, the user interface is web enabled and configured to communicate through the Internet, the user interface further configured to provide instructions to selectively operate the ice skate sharpening device.
DIGITALLY CONTROLLED VARIABLE STIFFNESS SPORTING EQUIPMENT
A system, method, and apparatus for an athlete to variably control the flexibility and stiffness parameters of a piece of athletic equipment to select a desired performance characteristic of the equipment based on the stiffness parameter. According to certain embodiments discussed herein, an item of sporting equipment may be embedded, impregnated, lined, or encased using nitinol components, wherein the nitinol components may themselves be treated using a specific method in order to achieve the desired transformation results, as described below.
Battery powered skateboard
The disclosure relates generally to an electric skateboard. The electric skateboard may include a deck, at least a rechargeable battery pack, a control module, and a communications module, a pair of trucks mounted to the deck, a plurality of wheels mounted on axles of the trucks; and one or more motors installed in one or more of the plurality of wheels for propelling the electric skateboard. The deck may include a front end, a rear end, a top plate. The rechargeable battery pack, control module, and communications module may be enclosed in an enclosure attached to the deck.
PORTABLE SKI AND SNOWBOARD EDGE SHARPENER AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A ski or snowboard edge sharpener may include an abrasive grinding wheel, a belt-driven drive train or direct drive system that connects a motor and grinding wheel drive mechanism and decreases the grinding wheel's speed of rotation relative to the speed of the motor, a grinding wheel mount allowing selection and use grinding wheels of different grits and materials and grinding wheel controls allowing the control of the cut depth and the grinding wheel angles relative to the longitudinal and transverse planes of the ski edge surface to be sharpened. In some embodiments, the sharpener may alternatively include a grinding wheel and motor that drives the grinding wheel drive mechanism. Such configurations may allow repeated sharpening of a ski edge at specific/chosen angles with a specific/chosen surface finish. A position lockdown device that is part of each of the control mechanisms may be included.
ROLLER BOARD
A roller board has axles provided with castors and secured at the front and rear ends of a board deck such that a steering movement is transferrable to the axles by a person on the board deck by lateral shifting of weight. Steerability and problem-free operation are improved. Substantially rigid booms, one directed to the front and one directed to the rear, are provided at the front and rear ends of the board deck, respectively. A support arm pointing in the direction of the central axis of the board deck is rigidly fastened to each boom. The support arms are pivotable on the two sides about a pivot axis inclined in the direction of travel by 40° to 50° relative to the plane of the board deck. The axle of a single castor is mounted rotatably in or on each hub, with the pivot joint inside the castor.
Electric Paddle Wheel Motorized Snowboard
The subject invention provides a snowboard that is propelled over the snow by a battery powered hub motor. The preferred embodiments include a pair of elastic arms mounted in the tails section of the snowboard, on which specialized snow paddles are fitted to a hub motor designed for various snow conditions. The paddle wheel attaches to the elastic arms through axle locking plates transferring the trust provided by the hub motor to the snowboard.
Electric skateboards
An electric skateboard comprising: a deck; a front truck and a rear truck; a pair of wheels rotatably connected to each truck, wherein one or both pairs of wheels are driven by sensored motors; a communications module configured to receive control instructions from a wireless remote control and to transmit data to one or more external devices; a controller in communication with the communication module and the motors; and a battery supplying power to the motors, communications module and controller.
