Elevator call registration when a car is full
An illustrative example elevator system includes a plurality of elevator cars. A dispatch controller assigns a first one of the elevator cars to travel to a landing in response to a first request for elevator service at that landing. At least one call button is operative to place a second request while the first one of the elevator cars is situated at the landing in response to the first request. The dispatch controller assigns a second one of the elevator cars to travel to the landing in response to the second request.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADJUSTING ELEVATOR LOAD SETTINGS
A method of adjusting a load setting of an elevator car that includes receiving one or more load measurements associated with the elevator car and determining a maximum load of the elevator car from the one or more load measurements. The method further includes generating a modified load setting for the elevator car based on the maximum load and replacing the load setting of the elevator car with the modified load setting.
Systems and methods for dispatching elevators
A method for reassigning a first elevator car of a plurality of elevator cars that includes dispatching the first elevator car from a current location to a first destination location to pick up an occupant at the first destination location. The method includes determining the first elevator car stopped at an intermediate location positioned between the current location and the first destination location. The method further includes determining a number of occupants within the first elevator car is greater than at least a second elevator car of a plurality of elevator cars after the first elevator car stopped at the intermediate location, and directing the first elevator car to a second destination location different from the first destination location.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM TO SELECT AN ELEVATOR CAR OF A BANK OF ELEVATOR CARS FROM AN ELEVATOR HEALTH AND USAGE STATE AND A TRAVEL TIME TO RESPOND TO A SERVICE REQUEST
An elevator system in a building having a plurality of levels, the system having elevator cars, a controller operationally coupled to the elevator cars, and configured to receive a service request, and render a first determination to select one of the elevator cars to respond to the service request, wherein the controller is configured to render the first determination from a determination of one or more of an elevator health and usage state of the elevator cars, and a travel time to respond to the service request by each of the elevator cars.
Elevator system
A method of controlling operation of an elevator system (2), the elevator system (2) including a hoistway (4) extending between a plurality of landings (8) situated on different floors (9), and at least one elevator car (6) configured for moving along the hoistway (4) between the plurality of landings (8). The method includes receiving a control input indicating a passenger transport request, wherein the control input comprises at least one passenger transport request parameter; monitoring passengers (30) within or outside the elevator car (6) and determining at least one passenger parameter associated with the passengers (30); comparing the at least one passenger transport request parameter with the at least one passenger parameter; and controlling further operation of the elevator system (2) based on the result of said comparison.
Systems and methods for dispatching elevators
A method for dispatching an elevator car that includes determining a first duration for each of a plurality of first elevator cars to travel from a current location to a first location, and dispatching at least one of the first elevator cars to the first location when the first duration of the at least one first elevator car is less than a threshold duration. The method includes determining a second duration for an occupant to travel from the first location to a second location, and each of a plurality of second elevator cars to travel from the current location to the second location, when the first duration for the first elevator cars exceeds the threshold duration. The method includes dispatching at least one of the second elevator cars to the second location when the second duration of the at least one second elevator car is less than the threshold duration.
Automatically supporting social distancing for elevator call requests and identification of waiting passengers using deep learning and machine learning
Provided are embodiments for identifying waiting passengers outside an elevator using deep learning and machine learning and automatically supporting social distancing for elevator passengers. Embodiments include receiving a call request from an elevator floor; capturing an image of the elevator floor registering the call request responsive to receiving the call request; and determining, from the image, a presence of one or more waiting passengers on the elevator floor registering the call request. Embodiments also include dispatching an elevator car to the elevator floor registering the call request; and controlling the elevator car based at least in part on determining the presence of the one or more waiting passengers.
CONTROL OF ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A method for managing a travel of a mobile robot, performed by a control system, includes: receiving data indicative of a state of the at least one transfer floor; receiving a service request; setting, in response to a detection that the state of the at least one transfer floor does not correspond to a reference state, another floor as a new transfer floor; generating a control signal to request an allowance of the elevators to travel to the new transfer floor; and generating a control signal comprising data at least indicative of a travel path of the mobile robot in the elevator utilizing the new transfer floor. Also, a control system, a computer program and a computer-readable medium are provided.
