COVER FOR USE WITH VACUUM HOIST
A cover assembly may include a cover having a top surface which is generally planar and substantially void of any features formed thereon and an attach and release mechanism mechanically coupled to the top surface and configured to mechanically engage with a corresponding engagement feature of a physical object in order to mechanically retain the cover assembly in a fixed position relative to the physical object.
System and a method for controlling a motion compensated pile guide for a floating vessel, and a vessel
A system for controlling a motion compensated pile guide for a floating vessel comprises a pile guide for guiding a monopile in its longitudinal direction during driving the monopile into a seabed, an actuator for moving the pile guide in horizontal direction with respect to a vessel to which the pile guide is mounted, a control unit for controlling the actuator, which control unit is configured for compensating motion of the vessel to which the pile guide is mounted so as to maintain the horizontal position of the pile guide during driving a monopile into a seabed, a first sensor for determining an inclination angle of a monopile with respect to the vertical during driving the monopile into a seabed, and a second sensor for determining magnitude and direction of an actual force of a monopile onto the pile guide during driving the monopile into a seabed. The control unit is configured to determine a desired force of the pile guide onto the monopile for minimizing the inclination angle when determined by the first sensor, and to control the actuator for moving the pile guide opposite to the direction of the actual force when the desired force is larger than the actual force and in the same direction as the actual force when the actual force is larger than the desired force.
ATTACHMENT WITH GROUND SUPPORT MEMBER
An attachment that is mountable to an arm of construction equipment includes a mount bracket that is removably attachable to the arm of the construction equipment. An implement is mounted to the mount bracket, where the implement is configured to perform at least one jobsite task. At least one ground support member is mounted on the attachment, and the at least one ground support member includes at least two support legs that are actuatable between a retracted position and an extended, ground-engaging position at which the at least one ground support member is able to support the attachment on the ground when the mount bracket is not attached to the arm of the construction equipment.
Bollard setting and installation system
A bollard setting and installation system for efficiently installing a bollard wall without any restrictions relating to proximity to water or flood plains. The bollard setting and installation system generally includes a setting frame which is positioned on a ground surface. A plurality of bollards is positioned on the setting frame in a desired spacing and orientation to form a bollard wall. A vehicle having a vehicle arm connected to a lifting frame is positioned such that the bollards are secured to the lifting frame by clamps in the desired spacing and orientation. The vehicle may then move the lifting frame to position the lower ends of the bollards in an opening in the ground surface. Concrete may be poured to encapsulate the lower ends of the bollards. The lifting frame may then be removed, with the bollard wall being free-standing in the ground surface.
Fire tube installation and removal tool
A tool is provided for removal and installation of a fire tube that extends into an opening in a wall of a heating vessel. The fire tube locates within an interior of the heating vessel when mounted thereto. The fire tube has a tube wall that defines a tube interior and has a mounting end for mounting the fire tube to the wall of the heating vessel. The tool has an elongated main shaft member having an insertion end and an opposite control end. A first support is mounted upon the insertion end that is configured for being closely received within the tube interior. A second support is mounted along the length of the main shaft member, the second support having a fire tube interface configured for engaging and releasably coupling to the mounting end of the fire tube. A lift coupling couples to the main shaft and locates between the second support and the control end of the main shaft member for coupling to a lift line. A counterbalance support carries removable weighting members, the counterbalance support being coupled to the main shaft by a counterbalance support spacing arm that extends laterally from the main shaft member.

GRABBING MECHANISM
Aspects of the disclosure relate to grabbing, holding and releasing an object including a pull stud. For instance, a grabbing mechanism may include a piston chamber having a piston configured to move within the piston chamber when the piston chamber is pressurized. The mechanism may also include a collet attached to the piston such that the collet and piston move together when the piston moves. The collet may include a groove. The mechanism may also include ball cage including a plurality of balls arranged at least partially within respective ball chambers of the ball cage. The ball cage may be arranged at least partially within the collet such that movement of the piston and collet causes the groove to align with the respective ball chambers. The plurality of balls may be configured to move into and out of the groove and to lock the pull stud within the mechanism.
ROTOR BLADE ASSEMBLY
Provided is a wind turbine rotor blade assembly including a rotor blade with an airfoil section and a root section; a carrier assembly arranged in an interior cavity of the blade and including a number of lifting fittings, wherein a lifting fitting and adapted to engage with a connector of a blade lifting apparatus. A method of lifting a wind turbine rotor blade is also provided.
