CONVERTIBLE SPORT BOARD SYSTEM
A sport board system is provided, the system having a sport board deck having a bottom surface, a front end and a rear end, a rear wheel assembly fixed to the bottom surface adjacent the rear end, and a fixation structure for a wheel assembly at the front end. The fixation structure has a notch passing through a thickness of the sport board deck, fixation rails parallel to a length of the sport board deck, and a locking mechanism at an end of the notch. Also provided is a method for transforming a sport board system from a skateboard configuration to a scooter configuration.
Enigma system
The present invention relates to an enigma system for decoding a user's environment. The system is activated using hand/finger movements and/or voice commands that signal the system to select an item in the user's environment and perform predefined information searches in the local or remote database to located information about the item of interest. The user movements may be detected by an imaging device to eliminate the need for structure to be associated with a user's hand. The enigma system can monitor the user's environment and automatically provide selectable information about the user's environment and provide warnings allowing a user to better decoded his environment.
SYSTEM FOR TEAM BALL GAME HAVING INTERACTIVE GOAL BARRIERS
Systems and devices for a team game played on an obround court includes radially symmetric barriers defining cylindrical goals having circular openings concentric with the semicircles of the obround court. An annular halt zone extends around the barriers. A free throw line extends around each halt zone. An obround judge lane extends along the perimeter of the court and is occupied by two judges or referees that monitor the game, while another judge or referee remains inside the perimeter. The court is divided by a centerline which includes a circle at the center of the court. The outer wall of the barrier includes one or more video screens. Audience members can access a computer network to display images, text or video selected by them in real-time during gameplay. The ball used for the game has a surface texture provided by a plurality of square pebbles instead of rounded pebbles.
REMOTE RELEASE SNOWBOARD BINDING
In one example, a snowboard binding includes a retention and release assembly configured to be mounted to a snowboard, and including a manually operable retention mechanism. The snowboard binding further includes a boot interface portion configured to releasably engage the retention and release assembly, and the boot interface portion further configured to releasably retain a boot, and when the boot interface portion is fully engaged with the retention and release assembly, the boot interface portion is rotatable relative to the retention and release assembly.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT WITH ALTERABLE CHARACTERISTIC
Articles of sports equipment, such as striking implements (e.g., sticks) and wearable articles (e.g., skates, helmets) for playing hockey or other activities, in which at least one of the characteristics (e.g., stiffness) of the articles of sports equipment is adaptable and can be altered during use of the sports equipment, such as by comprising an alterable component coupled to a controller, by comprising an alterable component that is autonomously alterable, and/or by an alterable component that can be altered in response to a command of a remote device.
Analysis system and associated sliding board
A system for analysis of use of a sliding board comprising at least one piezoelectric element configured to be secured to the sliding board and generate electric energy during deformations of the sliding board; and an electronic processing circuit configured for estimating at least one parameter of use of the sliding board and configured to be connected to the sliding board. The electronic processing circuit is powered by the electric energy generated by the at least one piezoelectric element.
Method and Apparatus for Analysis of Gait and to Provide Haptic and Visual Corrective Feedback
A system for analysis of user gait and to provide correction in form of haptic and visual feedback. This system comprises a motion and force sensors and a haptic actuator embedded in the user shoe insoles in communication with a smart-phone based analysis application, configured to calculate motion and orientation of the user feet in relation to the value, location and distribution of ground reaction forces measured by sensors located in the shoe insoles and after analysis of said forces and motion, to provide haptic feedback to the user foot instructing about the location (and timing) of pressure the user must apply to achieve an optimal gait.
Electric vehicles, electric vehicle systems and methods of control
Electric vehicles, electric vehicle systems, and methods for controlling the electric vehicles or electric vehicle systems are described. In one implementation, an electric vehicle includes a main body for carrying a user, a plurality of electric wheels mounted on the main body, and a controller mounted on the main body. The main body includes a front main body and a rear main body removably connected to the front main body. The front main body can move independently when disconnected from the rear main body. In some embodiments, at least one of the plurality of electric wheels is mounted on the front main body. The controller is configured to send drive signals to the plurality of electric wheels according to input of the user. The plurality of electric wheels are configured to rotate according to the drive signals. The electric vehicles and the electric vehicle systems described in the present disclosure have a separable main body, advantageously allowing for short or medium distance transportation at low cost, flexibility in turning, and great potential for expanding their functionality.
Automated devices using rotational motion to apply chalk to a surface
Various devices utilize rotational movement of a piece of chalk to apply a graphic to a surface. Such a device includes a chassis, a motor connected to the chassis, a solid piece of chalk supported by a mounting structure carried by the chassis, and a rotatable axle or spindle that transmits rotational movement from the motor to the solid piece of chalk via the mounting structure such that the solid piece of chalk may be sanded by a surface to render a graphic to the surface. Some such devices are vehicles. Various systems include such devices as well as remote communication devices for operational control.
POWERED WHEELED BOARD
Various powered personal mobility vehicles are disclosed. In some embodiments, the vehicle can include a deck having a forward portion, a rearward portion, and a neck portion. A front swivel wheel assembly and a rear swivel wheel assembly can be connected with the deck. In some embodiments, the front swivel wheel assembly comprises a motor.
