CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A CRANE
A control system for a crane comprises a mobile terminal, with pre-installed application software for entering a control command for a crane and with a transmitting module for transmitting the control command, a control unit with a receiving module which is suitable for receiving the control command and is capable of being brought into signal linkage with the mobile terminal, the signal linkage being wireless, and at least one crane module in signal linkage with the control unit, for executing the control command.
Remote control arrangement
A remote control arrangement includes a portable computer, in which a computer program product for generating and transmitting control signals by transmitter provided on the computer is stored, and a remotely controlled object, on which a receiver for receiving the control signals and a controller for controlling the object in accordance with the received signals are provided. The remote control arrangement has a security device having an operating element that can be mechanically actuated. A security control connection can be established between the security device and the portable computer, and control of the object can be allowed only when the security control connection is established. The security control connection includes an electronic signal connection between the security device and the computer. The control signals for moving the object cannot be transmitted until the electronic signal connection exists. The security device has a security transmitter, by which a termination signal preventing the movement of the object can be transmitted.

A remote control arrangement includes a portable computer, in which a computer program product for generating and transmitting control signals by transmitter provided on the computer is stored, and a remotely controlled object, on which a receiver for receiving the control signals and a controller for controlling the object in accordance with the received signals are provided. The processor executes the computer readable and executable instructions to: determine at least one operating characteristic of the overhead lift and an operating time of the overhead lift as the overhead lift is actuated; determine an accumulated load-time parameter for the overhead lift based on the at least one operating characteristic and the operating time; and upload the accumulated load-time parameter to at least one of the computer, the network, and the data storage device.
Lift control systems for lifting devices and lifting devices comprising the same
According to embodiments, an overhead lift includes a lift actuator; and a control system communicatively coupled to the lift actuator. The control system may include a control unit comprising a processor with a memory communicatively coupled to the processor and having computer readable and executable instructions and at least one transceiver communicatively coupling the control unit to at least one of a computer, a network, and a data storage device. The processor executes the computer readable and executable instructions to: determine at least one operating characteristic of the overhead lift and an operating time of the overhead lift as the overhead lift is actuated; determine an accumulated load-time parameter for the overhead lift based on the at least one operating characteristic and the operating time; and upload the accumulated load-time parameter to at least one of the computer, the network, and the data storage device.
Control switch, control system and method for operating a crane
A control switch for operating a crane. The control switch includes a first interface designed to transfer signals between the control switch and a control unit of the crane. In order to combine, in particular, the robustness and operating reliability of the control switch desired in industrial use with increased functional scope in a cost-effective way, the control switch is provided with a second interface designed to transfer signals between a mobile terminal and the control switch in order to add functions of the mobile terminal to the functional scope of the control switch.
