Overhead system for operator-robot task collaboration

An overhead system assists an operator in moving an object when the operator imparts a manual force to the object in a shared workspace characterized by overlapping ranges of motion of the robot and operator. The system includes an articulated serial robot, a cable, sensors, and a control system. One end of the cable connects to a distal end link of the robot. Another end of the cable connects to the object to suspend the object. The sensors measure a cable force and/or angle. The control system regulates operation of the robot by translating vertically and horizontally in response to the cable force and/or angle. The control system limits the position and/or velocity of the end link according to corresponding work space rules, including respective position and velocity limits, such that the system is immune to a single-point failure.

GUIDE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND CRANE PROVIDED WITH SAME

Provided is a guide display device with which it is possible to track a hung load and display guide information. Also provided is a crane including such a guide display device. A guide display device of a crane including a data processing unit that creates a plurality of surfaces using point cloud data, which is acquired by a laser scanner from above a hung load and which includes the hung load, and creates a three-dimensional map according to the plurality of surfaces, the three-dimensional map being created for each prescribed period, wherein the data processing unit is configured to set a reference position at the hung load in the three-dimensional map and also set a current surface present within a prescribed distance from a past reference position as the surface of the hung load, thereby tracking the hung load in the three-dimensional map.

Provided is a guide display device with which it is possible to track a hung load and display guide information. Also provided is a crane including such a guide display device. A guide display device of a crane including a data processing unit that creates a plurality of surfaces using point cloud data, which is acquired by a laser scanner from above a hung load and which includes the hung load, and creates a three-dimensional map according to the plurality of surfaces, the three-dimensional map being created for each prescribed period, wherein the data processing unit is configured to set a reference position at the hung load in the three-dimensional map and also set a current surface present within a prescribed distance from a past reference position as the surface of the hung load, thereby tracking the hung load in the three-dimensional map.

GUIDANCE SYSTEM

A guidance system includes a guidance device and a controller. The guidance device has a display portion. The controller stores information of a target position of a transport object. The controller calculates a detected position which is a current position of the transport object based on a detection result of a detection portion, and further calculates a position deviation which is a deviation of the detected position from a target position. The display portion displays information of the position deviation.
