Gantry assembly and a system for replacing single or double railway bridges
10214395 · 2019-02-26 ·

A gantry assembly includes a main beam extending between a first and a second end. A plurality of legs including a pair of first legs and a pair of second legs attached to the main beam. A pair of first trolleys is slidably attached to the main beam. A first girder is attached to each one of the first trolleys and extends outwardly from the first trolleys for movement with the first trolleys. The first girder includes a pair of posts having a first and a second post disposed spaced from one another. The first post is attached to the first girder and extends downwardly from the first girder. The second post is slidably attached to the first girder and is movable along the first girder toward and away from the main beam allowing the gantry assembly to have different widths to accommodate for a single or double railway bridge.

BRIDGE SPAN REPLACEMENT SYSTEM

A vertically-adjustable gantry assembly installation for removal or placement of a train bridge-span of the type which spans and supported by two piers, comprises a gantry assembly positioned on load-bearing first ground-support locations, the gantry assembly comprising a gantry and a ground-engaging vertical support and lift system, the vertical support and lift system adapted for supporting a combined weight of the gantry and bridge span in at least one operational vertical position above respective bridge span support-surfaces of the piers including a position corresponding to a disembarking plane in which the leg portions are extended from a viewed portion to an extent as least sufficient for the gantry assembly to self-liftoff the pre-installation conveyance system onto the first ground-support locations to effect the gantry assembly installation.

The invention provides a data centre including a building structure comprising an internal space for containing equipment modules and a lifting device adapted to lift, lower and move horizontally equipment modules within the internal space of the building structure. In embodiments, the invention provides a power section of a data centre wherein the equipment modules are comprised of power equipment modules. The invention enables data centre equipment modules including the standby generators and power supply and distribution systems to be prefabricated off-site and supplied in a skid mounted form so that they can be transported to site, unloaded and quickly installed into the building structure.

Overhead crane and assembly of at least two overhead cranes

An overhead crane (21, 22) for hoisting and moving containers (2) includes a rail track (23, 24) which rests on the ground via columns (25), and a frame (31, 32) which is displaceable along the rail track (23, 24) and is provided with elements for picking up and hoisting containers (2). In particular, the frame (31, 32) is suitable to accommodate at least one container (2) completely. In an assembly (20) of at least two overhead cranes (21, 22), the rail tracks (23, 24) of the overhead cranes (21, 22) extend at different levels with respect to the ground, substantially parallel with respect to each other, and rest on the ground via common columns (25). One of the advantages of this arrangement is the fact that the overhead cranes (21, 22) can pass each other.
