Lift system with moving cam assembly and related methods
A lift system for lifting a load includes a counterweight, a base unit, a fly line, a load line, and pulleys. The base unit includes a movable cam assembly coupled to a fixed frame. The cam assembly includes a cam member that is rotatable relative to a carriage of the cam assembly. The cam assembly can be moved between first and second positions relative to the frame member, and prevents movement of the fly line through the base unit in the first position, while movement of the fly line through the base unit is allowed when the cam assembly is in the second position.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STAGE RIGGING
An apparatus for use in rigging stages includes a portable bar sized to extend across standard widths of a tower or a cross beam with a portion extending beyond the side of the tower or beam. A lifting mechanism, such as a block-and-tackle, is attached to the portion to allow a rigger to raise or lower heavy objects. In a method of use, a rigger carries the lifting bar to a desired location on a tower or beam and secures at least one end of the portable bar to one or more cross bars. Then the rigger can raise or lower heavy objects by attaching a flexible line from the lifting mechanism to the object and manipulating the lifting mechanism to assist in moving the heavy object to a desired location.

Vehicle Winch Game Loader
A vehicle winch game loader. The device includes a central support including a first pulley connected to an upper end thereof. A rear support is connected to the upper end of the central support. A front support includes a rear end connected to a lower end of the central support and a front end having a second pulley connected thereto. The front support extends in a direction opposite the rear support. A crossbar is connected to the lower end of the central support, wherein the crossbar is oriented perpendicular to the front support. A rear end of the rear support is configured to frictionally engage a rear end of a vehicle when the crossbar and the front support are supported on an upper surface of a front end of the vehicle. The device may be utilized to load game or other objects onto the vehicle using the vehicle's winch.

PULLEY BLOCK HAVING A COVERING ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING A COVERING ELEMENT ON A PULLEY BLOCK
A pulley block for tackles has a pulley surrounded by a covering hood having inlet and outlet openings for a load cable, with a covering element inserted into at least one of the openings and retained by a retaining strip reaching behind an edge of the opening. The covering element has an opening for the load cable that is less than the inlet and outlet opening in the covering hood. The covering element is divided into first and second covering parts such that to mount the covering element on the covering hood with the load cable in a reeved state, the first and second covering parts can be inserted into the inlet and outlet opening via the retaining strips of the first and second covering parts, then reach behind the edge of the inlet and outlet opening, and then be joined to form the covering element in a mounted state.

Utility task vehicle (UTV) accessory for a side-by-side UTV having a front-mounted winch
The present invention discloses a utility task vehicle (UTV) accessory for a side-by-side UTV having a front-mounted winch. The UTV accessory includes a support frame capable of mounting to a front region of the UTV. The UTV accessory includes a first pulley mounted to a bottom region of the support frame substantially level with the winch mounted on the UTV. The first pulley is capable of receiving a winch line from the winch and redirecting the winch line. The UTV accessory includes a second pulley mounted toward a top region of the support frame. The second pulley is capable of receiving the winch line from the first pulley and redirecting the winch line so that the direction of a winch force provided by the winch is relocated to a higher region than the location of the winch on the UTV.
Hook block and rope hoist
A hook block suspended by a wire rope and provided with: sheave shaft parts for rotatably supporting hook sheaves; a connecting shaft inserted into shaft holes that penetrate the sheave shaft parts in the axial direction; brackets which support the sheave shaft parts by fitting the same in engaging holes in first piece parts, which are provided with second piece parts substantially orthogonal to the first piece parts, and in which insertion holes are formed, the insertion holes enabling the insertion of the upper side of a hook in a mutually facing arrangement; a bracket-fixing member supported by the second piece parts above the second piece parts; and a hook support member rotatably arranged above the bracket-fixing member and fixed to the outer periphery of the upper side of the hook.
