LIFTING GEAR
A lever hoist includes a housing in which a load chain wheel and a driveshaft driving the load chain wheel are mounted, as well as a safety brake. A load chain is movable via the load chain wheel. The safety brake brings about an emergency braking in the event of excessive rotational speed of the driveshaft. The safety brake has a locking disc with teeth and a control disc with control cams. The locking disc and the control disc are rotatable in relation to one another in a limited manner. A catch hook is movable in a swivelling manner and has a latch contour and a sensing contour. The sensing contour rests on the control. In response to exceeding a defined rotational speed, the sensing contour lifts off the control disc. The latch contour rotates towards the locking disc and engages with a locking tooth of the locking disc.
LIFTING GEAR
A lever hoist includes a housing in which a load chain wheel and a drive shaft driving the load chain wheel via a transmission are rotatably mounted, as well as a safety brake. A load chain is movable via the load chain wheel. The safety brake implements emergency braking in response to excessive rotational speed of the drive shaft. The safety brake includes a locking disc with teeth and a control disc with control cams. The locking disc and the control disc are rotatable in a limited manner. A catch hook is movable in a swivelling manner and has a latch contour at a front end and a sensing contour at a rear end. The sensing contour rests on the control disc. When a defined rotational speed is exceeded, the sensing contour lifts off the control disc. The latch contour engages with a locking tooth of the locking disc.
TerraPull Device
An article of manufacture for providing an earth extraction device provides a set of three posts, a post securing bolt having a threaded end and a fix end and passing through the first top hole and the second top hole of each of the three posts in consecutive order for coupling the set of three posts together at a coupling point, a mating nut for coupling to the threaded end of the post securing bolt after protruding through the second top hole of the third post, a block and tackle pully-and-winch, and a top chain having a first end and a second end, the top chain configured around each of the posts of the set of three post above the coupling point. The block and tackle pully-and-winch includes a hook coupled to a top end, a winch cable configured within the pully and winch; a bottom chain coupled to a bottom end, and a winch handle, the winch handle configured to rotate the winch causing the winch cable within the block and tackle to shorten with an upward stroke. The first end and the second end of the top chain engaging the hook to suspend the pully and winch below the coupling point of the set of three posts.

Multiple action hoist
A hoist for transferring the ends of power lines between supports at different locations including a pair of hoist mechanisms each having a respective tension line receiving drum and which are simultaneously operable with a single crank arm. Each drum has a respective ratchet mechanism that can be selectively set such that upon pivotable movement of the single crank arm between a first and second positions the ratchet mechanisms (i) simultaneously rotate both the drums in a take up direction for simultaneously winding said tensions lines onto the drums, (ii) simultaneously enable rotation of the drums in a release direction for simultaneously unwinding the tensions lines from the drums, or (iii) rotate one drum in a take-up direction for winding the respective tension line on the one drum while simultaneously enabling rotating the other drum in a release direction for unwinding the tension line from the other drum.

LEVER HOIST
A lever hoist including a housing, in which a load chain wheel and a drive shaft are rotatably mounted. A drive torque is transmittable to the drive shaft via a lever. A load chain is moveable via the load chain wheel. The ratchet wheel has an internal thread and is axially displaceable on a threaded portion of the drive shaft having a brake thread. A damping spring is on a drive-side portion of the drive shaft between the threaded portion and an outer stop. If the load chain is blocked, when the load no longer continues to slip in a sliding manner, the ratchet wheel is pushed against the pressure of the damping spring until the pawl body is displaced out of the drive teeth into the untoothed disengagement portion.

Chain hoist
A chain hoist with a chain wheel and a load chain looped around the chain wheel has a shaft rotatably mounted in the housing for driving the chain wheel. A threaded disc with internal thread is connected to an external thread of the shaft and has a drive gear tooth system engaged by a force element actuated manually or motorized. A brake disc rotatable relative to shaft and threaded disc has a braking surface facing a drive surface of the shaft and a braking surface facing the threaded disc. The brake disc has locking teeth engaging a safety catch of the housing. A freewheel device is provided to increase an axial distance between threaded disc and drive surface. Centrifugal elements with outward friction surface are fixed to the threaded disc and expand outwardly against a spring force to contact a braking surface of the housing with their friction surface.
