A wire pulling windier apparatus attachable to a tractor, loader or other mobile transport device capable of receiving attachments has a pass through frame attachable to the mobile device, a vertical support member on the frame for supporting a first winch with cable for attaching and pulling a fence wire to be tensioned, a second winch for raising and lowering a slide block assembly through which the first winch cable is guided to allow pulling the first winch cable at different vertical heights, and has winch tension limiting apparatus.

AUTOMATIC METHOD FOR DETERMINING A PHYSICAL END-OF-TRAVEL POSITION OF A REEVE-BLOCK OF A TOWER CRANE
20240017969 · 2024-01-18 ·

An automatic method for determining a physical end-of-travel position (zphys) of a reeve-block of a crane which may be moved in ascent and in descent by means of a lifting cable comprises a phase of ascent of the reeve-block during which a force on a strand of the lifting cable is monitored by a monitoring device, which may be a load sensor such as a gauge pin. The physical end-of-travel position is reached and determined depending a variation of the force on the strand of the lifting cable. From this physical end-of-travel position, a maximum end-of-travel position (zmax) may be determined in particular, which is a position not to be exceeded by the reeve-block when the crane is working.

Winch delivery system

The present specification provides a device and method for controlling a winch parcel delivery system through an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone. The example apparatus contemplates the use of a winch that will attach to a hook with active and passive release mechanisms through a winch line. The apparatus is enabled to attach to a parachute recovery system. The apparatus can detect when the ground has been reached to enable safe delivery of parcels. The apparatus can removably attach to various types of drones.

Explosion-proof cross-type limit switch

A cross-type limit switch (10) with a housing (12) that contains a gear mechanism (24) that includes a cover plate (38), base plate (48), and intermediate plate (42). The intermediate plate (42) has first and second cutouts (44, 46) within which respective gearwheels (54, 58) are arranged. The first and second gear wheels (54, 58) have respective plugthrough openings (56, 60), and a shaft (20) coupled to an actuating lever (18) outside the housing is rotatably mounted in a first bearing arrangement (22) connected to the housing. The actuating lever shaft (20) extends through the first plugthrough opening (56) of the first gear wheel (54) for rotating and radially locating the first gear wheel (54). A rotary switch (30) arranged in the housing (12) has a switch shaft (138) rotatably mounted in a second bearing arrangement (106, 34) that extend through the second plugthrough opening (60) of the second gearwheel for rotating and radially locating the second gearwheel (58).
