LIFTING DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR A CABLE WINCH
A cable winch having a base frame with at least two base plates, and at least two longitudinal beams for connecting the base plates to each other. One of the base plates is designed such that the longitudinal beams can be installed or removed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal beams through the base plate, with passage openings in the base plate for feeding the longitudinal beams there through, and with one beam end of each of the longitudinal beams inserted into one of the passage openings. A beam end of each of the longitudinal beams is fastened to the base plate in and against the direction of the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal beam by a retaining element that is fastened to an outer face of the base plate, wherein a separate retaining element is provided for each longitudinal beam in order to enable simple assembly, disassembly, or conversion.
LIGHTING AND SENSORY SYSTEM FOR A PULLING TOOL
The present application relates generally to systems and methods for controlling operation of a winch system. As one example, lighting control system of the winch system may include a plurality of lights coupled to the winch, a plurality of sensors coupled to the winch, and a controller including memory with instructions for: adjusting an output of the plurality of lights in response to signals received from the plurality of sensors to indicate an operational status of the winch. In this way, the plurality of lights and plurality of sensors may work together in a synergistic manner to create alerts for an operator of the winch system.
Winch line attachment device and method for attaching winch line to winch
A winch line retainer for attaching the winch line to a winch drum may be formed as a strap defining a first retention loop at a first lateral end of the strap, a second retention loop at a second lateral end of the strap, and a mid-section that connects the first retention loop and the first lateral end and the second retention loop at the second lateral end. A method for attaching a synthetic rope winch line to a winch drum using the winch line retainer is further disclosed.
Winch mount assembly
A winch mount assembly comprises a mount assembly. The mount assembly having an upper mount assembly. The upper mount assembly having a coupling plate. he coupling plate has a first portion positioned perpendicular to the top plate. The winch mount assembly further comprising a lower mount assembly. The lower mount assembly having a lower coupling plate. A cross member receiver formed by a first portion of the coupling plate, a security plate and a first portion of the lower coupling plate. The winch mount assembly further comprises a winch.
Antenna tower construction/deconstruction stability assemblies and methods
Antenna tower construction/deconstruction biasing assemblies are provided. The biasing assemblies can be configured to extend between a standard and an antenna tower. The assemblies can include: an adjustable linear extension extending between a first end configured to couple with the standard and a second end configured to couple with the antenna tower; and a biasing mechanism configured to adjust the length of the linear extension and maintain the rigid engagement during transitioning of the tower from a down/erect position to an erect/down position. Methods for constructing/deconstructing an antenna tower are provided. The methods can include providing a biasing assembly.
Winch System
A winch system includes a truck that has a bed and the bed has a pair of spaced lateral walls. A winching unit is coupled to the truck. The winching unit includes a bar that has a telescopically adjustable length and the bar extends between the spaced lateral walls. The winching unit may be coupled to an object. Thus, the winching unit may urge the object into the bed thereby facilitating the truck to transport the object.
DRUM FOR A MOTORIZED LIFTING/PULLING DEVICE
An apparatus for providing reliable line spooling for hoists, winches, and other pulling and/or lifting devices is disclosed. In one embodiment, such an apparatus includes a motor and a drum rotated by the motor to draw in or let out a line from the drum. The drum includes a helical groove formed in an outer surface thereof to accommodate the line. A roller is provided to place pressure on the line against a groove in the drum. In certain embodiments, the drum comprises a groove which widens as it gets closer to the drum. In other embodiments, the groove is formed by sidewalls which are various shapes and dimensions allowing the line to be held in the groove.
Winch drum tension isolation system
A winch drum tension isolation system includes a winch drum including an outwardly extending flange, the flange including a plurality of holes spaced along the flange. The winch drum tension isolation system also includes a locking mechanism positioned proximate the winch drum and including a locking member engageable with the flange. The locking member is movable between a first position, in which the locking member is received in one of the plurality of holes to prevent rotation of the winch drum, and a second position, in which the locking member is spaced apart from the flange to permit rotation of the winch drum.
Fairlead device mounting bracket assembly for a vehicle winch assembly
A mounting bracket assembly for a vehicle, including: a mounting surface adapted to receive a fairlead device for a winch assembly of the vehicle; and a frame structure coupled to the mounting surface and adapted to be secured to a bumper structure of the vehicle; wherein the frame structure and the mounting surface are adapted to be collapsed or crushed towards the bumper structure when a sufficient force is applied to the fairlead device by a hook of the winch assembly when the hook is impacted during an impact event. The fairlead device and the hook are deflected into an opening formed in a front member of a bumper assembly with the hook being at least flush with an exterior surface of the front member of the bumper assembly.
