Device providing safe access to a confined space, notably a lateral-access confined space
The invention relates to a device (10) for safe access to a confined space, comprising: a rectilinear support strut (12), two arms (14, 16) each fixed rigidly to an end (12a) of the strut, at right angles thereto and in opposite directions. A first arm (14) comprises at least one anchoring element (18), the second arm (16) being provided with at least two pulleys (20, 22) whose axis of rotation is at right angles to the plane defined by the strut and the arms. The anchoring element (18) and the two pulleys (20, 22) are arranged so as to allow the passage of a cordage of the anchoring element to the pulleys without interfering with the strut and the first and second arms. The strut (12) has at least one fixing member intended to cooperate with an opening (84) of the confined space in order to ensure the fixing thereof.
OVERHEAD TRANSPORT VEHICLE AND TRANSPORT VEHICLE SYSTEM
The overhead transport vehicle includes: a winding drum configured to lift and lower a lifting part by winding and paying out a plurality of suspending members; at least one guide roller around which the suspending members paid out from the winding drum are wound; a body part supporting the winding drum and the guide roller; at least one position adjusting part configured to move a portion of each suspending member connected to the lifting part in a lifting direction by moving a relative position of the guide roller with respect to the body part; and a control part configured to control movement of the guide roller by the position adjusting part, based on information on an inclination of the lifting part.
Pulley with Line Guides
A pulley is disclosed. The disclosure provides a pulley. The pulley is made up of a frame and a wheel. The frame includes a first and second plate spaced apart from each other. The wheel is rotatably connected between the first and second plate. The first and second plate each include an extended portion extending in a common direction beyond the radius of the wheel. The extended portion of the first and second plate each include a ramp for guiding a line onto the wheel. Also disclosed is a method for making the pulley.
Wireline Assembly Enclosure
A wireline assembly enclosure. The wireline assembly enclosure has a first half and a second half which define an interior compartment. The first and second halves are attached via a hinge and move from an open configuration to a closed configuration. The enclosure also has a plurality of apertures. In various embodiments a stuffing box, lubrication tubing, and other materials pass through the apertures into the interior compartment. A sealing material is disposed partially about a perimeter of the first and second halves such that a seal is formed when the two halves are together in the closed configuration. The sealing material is also disposed about a perimeter of the plurality of apertures. An adjustable bar clamp inside the interior compartment of the enclosure clamps hardware in place. The enclosure is secured around a stuffing box and sheave in order to contain overspray from a wireline.
Silo Mountable Rescue Assembly
A silo-mountable rescue assembly for accessing a distressed person in a silo includes a tripod that is configured to couple to a top of a silo so that an apex of the tripod is substantially centrally positioned over an opening in the silo. A block and tackle is coupled to the tripod proximate to the apex. The block and tackle is configured to lower equipment and personnel into the silo to rescue a distressed person in the silo.

PULLEY DESCENDER
The self-clamping descender with pulley includes a first flange with a side wall defining a rope channel, a pulley fitted in rotary manner with respect to the first flange around a first axis of rotation, the pulley only rotating in a first direction of rotation around the first axis of rotation. The first axis of rotation is fitted movable with respect to the side wall of the first flange so as to define a first position and a second position presenting different distances with respect to the side wall of the first flange. Clamping of the pulley in the second direction of rotation results in movement of the first axis of rotation and pulley in the direction of the side wall of the first flange up to a threshold position.
Multi-purpose Adjustable Ceiling Suspension Storage Hoist
A hoist assembly includes: a rope; a first mount having a base and a pulley attached to the base; a second mount having a base and a pulley attached to the base; a first lift pulley movably associated with the first mount with the rope; a second lift pulley moveably associated with the second mount with the rope; a pair of support straps; a bracket located on each of the first lift pulley and second lift pulley for receiving one of the pair of support straps and one or more apertures formed through a side wall of the bracket; and a lateral strap secured at a first end through the one or more apertures of the bracket of the first lift pulley and at a second end through the one or more apertures of the bracket of the second lift pulley.
HITCH MOUNT FOR HOIST
A hitch mount for a hoist including a main member having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end configured to couple with a vehicle hitch, a hoist mounting bracket at the distal end of the main member, a pulley mounted on the main member between the proximal end and the distal end, and a rope lock mounted on the main member between the pulley and the distal end.
