LIFT BASE WITH RETRACTABLE WHEELS
A transportable jack system includes a jack disposed on a base. The base includes a base plate with a plurality of wheel openings formed therein, and a biasing member disposed between a wheel and the base plate. The biasing member is configured from a single piece of material consisting of a top horizontal portion, a bottom horizontal portion, and an angled middle portion disposed between the top horizontal portion and the bottom horizontal portion. The biasing member biases the base away from a ground surface when a load applied to the jack is below a predetermined threshold and deforms when the load is above the predetermined threshold, wherein the deformation allows the base plate to contact the ground surface.
BATTERY ASSEMBLY STABILIZATION MECHANISM
A mechanical stabilization system for a battery assembly is disclosed. The system includes an actuator and a stabilizer that are configured to work in concert. The actuator and stabilizer are disposed in a housing of the battery assembly. The system may be implemented by depression of the actuator disposed in the housing, which causes the stabilizer to retract a support post into the housing. The depression can occur during a docking operation of the battery assembly with a lift mechanism for an electric vehicle. When the actuator is released, the support post automatically reverts to its previous, deployed state. The support post is configured to maintain the battery assembly in a stable configuration when the battery assembly is separated from the electric vehicle.

Expandable car jack
An expandable car jack includes a vehicle lifting assembly with an upper lifting member, a lower lifting member mechanically coupled to the upper lifting member, and a lifting mechanism capable of moving the upper lifting member to a plurality of raised height positions. A base is coupled to the vehicle lifting assembly and includes a first base support member, a second base support member, and a base support coupler that is operable to selectively couple the first base support member to the second base support member in at least a first coupling position and a second coupling position. The base support coupler selectively mechanically maintains a parallel alignment and a perpendicular alignment of the first base support member and the second base support member when the base support coupler is in the first coupling position, allows the first base support member and the second base support member to freely move between the parallel alignment and the perpendicular alignment when the base support coupler is in the second coupling position, and remains mechanically coupled to at least the first base support member in the first and second coupling positions so that the first base support member cannot move with respect to the second base support member without a mechanical alteration to the base support coupler prior to moving either the first base support member or the second base support member.
HYDRAULIC RESCUE DEVICE FOR MANUAL OPERATION BY A RESCUER
The invention relates to a hydraulic rescue device (1) for manual operation by one rescuer. The rescue device (1) comprises a hydraulic cylinder (5) comprising a cylinder tube (6) and at least one piston rod (7, 7) that can be adjusted relative to the cylinder tube (6), at least one first support surface (17) formed on the cylinder tube (6) for supporting the rescue device (1) in a load-transferring manner on first object surfaces that can be freely selected by a rescuer, at least one second support surface (19) for supporting the rescue device (1) in a load bearing manner on second object surfaces that can be freely selected by a rescuer, and at least one manually operable control valve (14). At least one or more markings (23, 23) are provided on the casing surface (22, 22) of the at least one piston rod (7, 7), which at least one marking (23, 23) is provided at least to signal a remaining stroke (24) that is still available and/or an adjusting stroke (25) already travelled of the at least one piston rod (7, 7) relative to the cylinder tube (6).
TELESCOPING JACK FOR LIFTING LARGE CAPACITY TRUCKS
A jack, comprising: a top plate having at least one adapter block mounted thereon and adapted to contact a load; an intermediate plate; a base plate; a first pair of actuators coupled between the base and intermediate plates; and, a second pair of actuators coupled between respective lowered portions of the intermediate plate and the top plate; wherein one of the first pair of actuators is positioned on the base plate on either side of the respective lowered portions; wherein the actuators are operable to move the top and intermediate plates between respective lowered and raised positions to thereby lower and raise the load; and, wherein a top adapter plate of the at least one adapter block is operable to slide between first and second positions across the top plate as the load is raised and lowered to maintain alignment of the top, intermediate, and base plates below the load.
