Vehicle lift
A vehicle lift comprising a column, a carriage slidingly movable along said column, a lift arm hinged to the carriage. The lift arm has a base body, a distal body rotatably mounted to the base body, and a lock with an insert movable between a release position, where the insert allows relative rotation between the base body and the distal body, and a gripping position, where the insert prevents relative rotation between said bodies. The insert is slidingly movable relative to the base body and/or the distal body along a trajectory parallel to at least one of a section of the extension path of the base body and a section of the extension path of the distal body.

Pneumatic lifting device
A pneumatic lifting device includes a base, a first mast attached to the base, and a second mast attached to the base opposite the first mast. The first mast has a first rail extending therealong, and the second mast has a second rail extending therealong. A lift platform is operatively coupled to the base. The platform includes a first pair and a second pair of bearings coupled thereto so as to move in conjunction with the lift platform. The first pair of bearings is operatively coupled to the first rail so as to enable the first pair of bearings to move with respect to the first rail. The second pair of bearings is operatively coupled to the second rail so as to enable the second pair of bearings to move with respect to the second rail.

Safety latches for two post vehicle lift
A safety latch mechanism for a vehicle lift includes a pawl support member secured to a support post guiding a lift carriage having vertically positioned stop blocks. A pawl plate rests on the pawl support member and is urged toward engagement with the stop blocks to arrest downward movement of the lift carriage. A release lever selectively retracts the pawl plate to release the carriage for downward movement. A cable connects between a pair of the pawl plates on a system with a pair of the lift units.

SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE LIFT TO PREVENT OPERATION WITHOUT PROPER STORAGE OF SUPPLEMENTAL SUPPORTS
A system for controlling a vehicle lift that operates to linearly displace a vehicle with respect to a floor. The system includes a supplemental support configured to be positioned between the vehicle and the floor when the vehicle is in a raised position, a support receiver configured to receive the supplemental support, a sensor configured to detect a presence or absence of the support within the support receiver, and an electronic control unit including a processor and a memory unit that is coupled to the processor. The electronic control unit configured to determine whether the supplemental support is positioned within the support receiver based on an output of the sensor, and in response to determining that the supplemental support is not positioned within the support receiver, prevent the vehicle lift from operating to linearly displace the vehicle with respect to the floor.
Load indicator for vehicle lift
An apparatus comprises a frame, a vehicle engagement assembly, a lift actuation assembly, a locking assembly, and an indicator system. The vehicle engagement assembly is designed to vertically lift a vehicle. The frame comprises at least one slot to provide a predetermined path for the vehicle engagement assembly. The lift assembly provides the force required to lift the vehicle while the locking assembly stabilizes the vehicles without further force required by the lift assembly. The indicator system determines whether the locking assembly or the lift assembly is predominantly keeping the vehicle lifted.

Lifting apparatus for lifting and lowering vehicles
The invention relates to a lifting apparatus for lifting and lowering vehicles, loads or the like, with a support (17) which is movable up and down and on which support (17) a load receiving means (18) is provided, wherein the load receiving means (18) has at least one supporting arm (21) which is mounted on the support (17) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis (22), and with a locking device (37), which locking device (37) fixes the supporting arm (21) in an adjusted position with respect to the support (17), wherein the locking device (37) is released in the lowered state of the support (17) and, when the support (17) is raised, is locked and secures the adjusted pivoted position of the supporting arm (21) with respect to the support (17), wherein the locking device (37) comprises at least one actuable adjusting device (38) which is effective for the positioning of the supporting arm (21) in a pivoted position with respect to the support (17) and is automatically transferable into a locking position and fixes the adjusted pivoted position of the support (17).
