In-Ground Lifting System for Lifting a Vehicle Comprising a Cover, and Method for Lifting a Vehicle
The invention relates to an in-ground lifting system and corresponding method for lifting a vehicle. The lifting system includes one or more lifts including at least one moveable lift; a support structure for mounting the one or more lifts in a pit; a moving drive configured for moving the one or more moveable lifts in the pit; a lifting drive configured for lifting one or more of the lifts for raising and/or lowering the vehicle; and a cover configured for covering the pit. The cover includes a number of cover elements. An individual cover element extends in a width direction of the pit. The cover elements are configured to move between a pit covering state and a lift moving state such that the one or more moveable lifts pass over and/or by the cover elements. The cover elements move when one of the one or more moveable lifts moving through the pit is approaching.
RACK AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING WHEELS
In the context of service and maintenance of heavy road vehicles, apparatus is provided that is configured to engage and support a rack and manoeuvre it into position relative to the vehicle to facilitate removal and installation of the wheels. The rack has a frame with a base and a pair of arms, each arm being pivotally attached to opposite sides of the base to pivot between an open configuration and a folded configuration. The apparatus may be expanded and contracted between an expanded configuration, where the rack engagement assembly is configured to engage the rack in the open configuration, and a contracted configuration where the rack engagement assembly is configured to engage the rack in the folded configuration.

Shoe tying support assembly
A shoe tying support assembly includes a frame that is positionable on a floor. A scissor lift is movably coupled to the frame and the scissor lift is actuatable between a lifted position and a lowered position. A platform is positioned on the scissor lift and the platform is spaced upwardly from the frame when the scissor lift is actuated into the lifted position. Thus, a user can position their foot on the platform for assisting with tying shoes. A tilting unit is coupled between the scissor lift and the platform and the tilting unit tilts the platform at a selectable angle of deflection from a horizontal plane to enhance comfort for the user to position the user's foot on the platform. A remote control is provided to remotely control the scissor lift and the tilting unit.
Tilting scissor-lift for vehicles
A parking lift for vehicles. The parking lift includes a platform on which a vehicle can be parked and lifted by a pair of scissor-lifts configured to raise and lower the platform to enable parking of a second vehicle beneath the platform. A deck of the platform is provided with a gradual slope throughout its length to enable vehicles with low ground clearance to travel onto the platform without contacting an underside of the vehicle with the deck. Each of the scissor-lifts includes short leg and a long leg that is longer than the short leg. Upon actuation between lowered and raised positions, the legs raise an entry end of the platform a greater vertical distance than an opposite terminal end. The platform is thus tilted upward to place a deck thereof in a substantially level or downwardly sloping orientation from the entry end toward the terminal end.

CONVEYING DEVICE FOR MOVING VEHICLES, AND ROBOT SYSTEM COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE
A conveying device (3; 3a; . . . ; 3i) for moving and parking vehicles (2), the conveying device (3) being movable and comprising at least one vehicle gripping means (8) configured to be movable between a gripping position wherein the gripping means (8) extends at least partially below the vehicle (2), and a release position wherein the gripping means (8) does not extend below the vehicle (2), the gripping means (8) being configured to support the weight of the vehicle (2), the device being characterized in that it comprises at least one computer which is associated with sensors (8d) and configured to control the movement of the conveying device (3; 3a; . . . ; 3i) and the gripping means (8). The invention also relates to a robot system and a corresponding program.
LIFT ASSEMBLY FOR A PASSENGER VEHICLE
A wheelchair lift for a passenger vehicle such as a passenger bus, a motorcoach, or a class A motorhome. The wheelchair lift includes a housing having sidewalls and a plurality if bearings and a carriage supporting one or more of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. A lift assembly is coupled to the carriage and includes a first rail and a second rail supported by the plurality of bearings. A first scissor leg assembly is coupled to the first rail and a second scissor leg assembly is coupled to the second rail, wherein each of the first scissor leg assembly and the second scissor leg assembly move between an expanded and a collapsed condition. A platform is coupled to the first the second scissor leg assemblies, wherein movement of the first scissor leg assembly and second scissor leg assembly between the expanded and collapsed condition adjusts a position of the platform.
