Method of Braking Automated Guided Vehicle, and Automated Guided Vehicle
A method of braking an AGV, the AGV including a support structure and at least three drive units connected to the support structure, wherein each drive unit includes a wheel rotatable about a wheel axis and about a steering axis perpendicular to the wheel axis; an electric wheel motor arranged to drive the wheel about the wheel axis; a wheel sensor device arranged to determine a rotational position of the wheel about the wheel axis; an electric steering motor arranged to drive the wheel about the steering axis; and a steering sensor device arranged to determine a rotational position of the wheel about the steering axis; wherein the method includes positioning the wheels of the drive units in an invalid configuration; and position controlling each wheel about the respective steering axis in the invalid configuration.
Balanced locking pawl for a retractor
Provided herein is a balanced locking pawl. In particular, the center of gravity of the locking pawl is located at or near the pivot point of the locking pawl. The balanced approach allows for a faster locking response during the rebound (whiplash/return) forces of a crash.
WHEELCHAIR LOCATION SENSING DEVICE FOR A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE VEHICLE
Provided herein is an electronically-controlled wheelchair securement system with a winch apparatus that is adapted for pulling and steering a mobility device (e.g., wheelchair, scooter, stretcher, etc.) up and down the ramp of a rear-entry wheelchair accessible vehicle and for providing securement for the mobility device during transport.
Vehicle wheel elevating dock
A wheel elevating dock including a body member, a first plurality of ramp members attached to a first end of the body member and defining gaps between each ramp member of the first plurality of ramp members, and a second plurality of ramp members attached to a second end of the body member. The gaps defined by the first plurality of ramp members are configured to permit ramp members from an adjacent wheel elevating dock to be positioned within the gaps.
ENCLOSED FOAM RAMP
A ramp has a first end and a second end. The ramp includes a form core which has a first core surface and a second core surface. A metal skin is secured to and at least partially surrounds the form core. The metal skin forms at least a first skin surface secured to the first core surface and a second skin surface secured to the second core surface.
Commercial chain block system
A commercial chain block system is disclosed herein including a block assembly including an elongated platform supported by a first-support-leg, and a second-support-leg extending lengthwise along opposing sides of the platform. The first-support-leg and the second-support-leg have a ramp at one end forming a 45 degree angle. The platform, the first-support-leg, and the second-support-leg are configured to support a tire of a vehicle upon a top-surface of the platform and assist in installing chains on tires of commercial vehicles.
Vehicle Leveler with Wheel Chock
The device includes a first portion which has a leading edge and a trailing edge, the trailing edge is disposed further from the driveway than the leading edge. The embodiment also includes a second portion which has a leading edge and a trailing edge, the leading edge of the second portion is removably attached to the trailing edge of the first portion and the leading edge of the second portion is disposed further from the driveway than the trailing edge of the second portion. The second portion also includes an extension portion. The first portion and second portion are separate from each other until they are removably attached by a connection apparatus. The device also includes at least one wheel chock with a corresponding wheel-chock track.
Quick remove drive-over mower deck ramps
A quick remove drive-over mower deck ramp includes plastic body having a first end, a second end and a center portion extending over a pulley and belt on a multi-blade mower deck. The ramp has a rear incline and a front incline, each incline sloping upwardly from one end of the ramp toward the center portion. A first end of the ramp engages a cleat while the ramp is against the mower deck, and disengages the cleat while the ramp is pivoted away from the mower deck.
Dual tire chain block
A dual tire chain block for adding and removing chains to dual tire trucks includes a block base having a front side sloping from a bottom side to a top side to form a front ramp. A pair of chain mounts is coupled to the inner side and the outer side proximal the front side. A capture chain is coupled to the pair of chain mounts. The capture chain extends between the pair of chain mounts to form a U-shape adjacent the front side of the block base. The capture chain is configured to be driven on by a truck to prevent the block base from slipping away as the truck tires climb the front ramp to rest an inner tire on the top side to elevate an outer tire to receive or remove a snow chain.
Vehicle Ramp
A vehicle ramp is provided, having an adjustable ramp angle mechanism for use with and to accommodate vehicles, especially those having low ground clearance. The ramp has a wheel support formed at a top support surface and an inclined front surface. A recessed receiving channel is formed within the ramp and wheel support. An extension bridge is selectively removable from and fittingly received within a receiving channel. The bridge is extendable from the channel and from the inclined upper surface to form a ramp extension having a lower angle of approach than the inclined surface. This abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor intended to limit the scope of the claims in any way.
