The basket includes a subfloor assembly and a floor panel coupled to a top surface of the subfloor assembly and configured to support a user. The subfloor assembly includes a front member and a rear member each extending in a first direction, an inner member extending from the front member to the rear member, and an outer member having a first end portion coupled to the rear member and a second end portion opposite the first end portion. The front member and the rear member are offset a distance from one another in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The inner member extends substantially parallel to the outer member.

ELEVATING PLATFORM TOE SPACE

A toe space module for elevating platforms, wherein the module wraps around the edges and bottom of the platform in order to transform tension stress into shear and compression stresses. Also, a platform with a toe space module attached, and method for manufacturing the platform and toe space module. Also, a combination toe space module and step, a platform with the combination toe space module and step, and methods for manufacturing the platform with the combination toe space module and step.

Tilting bucket
11130664 · 2021-09-28 ·

A tilting support or work bucket, or apparatus for an aerial lift including a support frame for supporting an operator. The support frame can have a seat for supporting the operator when in an upright position and a chest support having a portion above and forward of the seat for supporting a chest of the operator when in a forwardly downward tilted position while allowing arms of the operator to extend forwardly out of the support frame. A support member can be pivotably mounted to the support frame at a pivot joint that is located at an upper portion of the support frame when the support frame is in the upright position, for pivotably supporting the support frame. An actuator can be included for positionably rotating the support frame relative to the support member about the pivot joint between the upright position and the forwardly downward tilted position. Since the pivot joint is located in the upper portion of the support frame, pivoting of the support frame from the upright position to the forwardly downward tilted position moves a center of gravity of the support frame rearwardly in the direction of the support member.

Ribs for an elevating platform, the ribs designed and configured to insert through a slot in the sidewall of the elevating platform. The ribs are composed of T-shaped and/or L-shaped portions. Configurations include a T-shaped rib that inserts through the slot; a combination T-shaped and L-shaped rib wherein the T-shaped component inserts through the slot and the L-shaped component is attached on the exterior of the platform, and a double-L-shaped rib, wherein one of the L-shaped components inserts through the slot and the other L-shaped component is attached to it on the exterior of the platform.

Method for Controlling the Movement of a Boom, and Work Machine
20210231140 · 2021-07-29 ·

A method controls the movement of a boom, wherein the boom is moved by a plurality of hydraulic drives. Each hydraulic drive is fed with a hydraulic medium, the pressure and/or volume flow of which is adjustable. The method predefines a desired direction of movement and a desired speed of a boom tip; predictively calculates a pressure and/or a volume flow required for each of the hydraulic drives that are required for the desired direction of movement and desired speed; subsequently generates a supply pressure depending on the predictively calculated pressures and/or subsequently generating a supply volume flow as a function of the predictively calculated volume flows; and subsequently feeds the hydraulic drives required for the desired direction of movement and desired speed with the hydraulic medium having a respective feed pressure and/or a respective feed volume flow such that the boom tip moves in the desired direction of movement at the desired speed.

INDUCTOR TO CONTROL TRANSIENT CURRENTS DURING ENERGIZED BOND ON
20210221666 · 2021-07-22 ·

A system and method using at least one inductor operatively coupled to an electrically insulating structure suppresses transient currents generated during a bond-on process by a human worker with energized electrical equipment so as to inhibit passage of the transient currents through the electrically insulating structure operatively coupled to the energized electrical equipment.

Electrical power assisted device for controlling an aerial bucket with a hydraulic movement system

Devices for controlling movement of aerial buckets via hydraulic systems. Each hydraulic system has valves that control movement of the aerial bucket. A control head of the device has a joystick that is moveable and encoders that detect movement of the joystick. A valve actuator manifold of the device is coupled between the control head and the hydraulic system and supports valve actuators moveably coupled to the valves. Servo drive systems supported by the valve actuator manifold are coupled to the valve actuators and are controllable to move the valve actuators. A processor module of the device is in communication with the encoders and the servo drive systems. The processor module controls the servo drive systems based on input from the encoders such that moving the joystick controls movement of the aerial bucket.

PROJECTORS FOR OVERHEAD HAZARD WARNING SYSTEMS
20210247063 · 2021-08-12 ·

An overhead hazard warning for an elevated work platform comprises a light source configured to emit light in a downward direction. The light passes through a first optical lens assembly, a template, and a second optical lens assembly to produce a pattern below the elevated work platform. A heat sink is located above the light source to draw heat radiated by the light source upwards and away from the light source.

EXTENDABLE WHEEL BASE CHASSIS

A support system for a vehicle includes a base and at least a first and a second support arm. Each of the first and the second support arms include a base end pivotally coupled to the base through a respective hinge assembly. Each of the first and the second support arms further include a distal end opposite the base end. The support system also includes a respective wheel assembly coupled to each distal end. Each wheel assembly includes an independently powered and steerable wheel configured to engage a travel surface, a propelling motor configured to drive a respective first support arm between a stowed condition and a deployed condition unaided while the vehicle remains stationary, and a steer actuator configured to change an angle of the wheel with respect to a respective support arm.

Mobile recreational lift system and method
11130665 · 2021-09-28 ·

A mobile recreational lift system, comprising a first lift vehicle and a second lift vehicle, each lift vehicle having an observation platform for carrying passengers, and an articulating lift mechanism for elevating the observation platform above a ground surface. The lift vehicles are positioned at an observation site in a paired configuration, allowing the observation platforms of both vehicles to be elevated simultaneously while retaining the ability to be independently controlled. The lift mechanisms are also adapted to move the observation platforms laterally, allowing the observation platforms to be placed in close proximity to allow the passengers to interact. If one of the lift vehicles malfunctions, the other lift vehicle may immediately position its observation platform to aid the passengers of the malfunctioning vehicle. Cameras mounted on each observation platform are adapted to capture images of the other observation platform and the passengers therein, from a variety of perspectives.
