Powered mobile base for a camera crane
A camera crane mobile base for carrying a camera crane includes a first powered remotely controllable steering system having first and second axle assemblies at a first end of a chassis. A second steering system including third and fourth axle assemblies is provided at a second end of the chassis. A first electrically powered remotely controllable propulsion system includes an electric propulsion motor connected to first and second axles in the first and second axle assemblies. A telescoping center post is pivotally attached to the chassis. An on-board hydraulic system may power the first steering system and the telescoping center post.
Battery pack assembly for camera crane and equipment
A vehicle for carrying a camera crane has wheels or treads on a chassis. A battery pack assembly on the chassis, includes an AC to DC converter and plurality of batteries wired to a battery charger within a housing. The batteries collectively may have an output voltage of 30 to 36 VDC when fully charged. At least one input connector on the housing is wired to the AC to DC converter for charging the batteries. The battery pack assembly replaces and is used instead of a camera-equipment-generator.
Camera dolly electrical system
A camera dolly includes a folding arm having a lower end of a first arm section pivotally attached to the chassis, and a lower end of a second arm section pivotally attached to an upper end of the first arm section. A hydraulic system includes a pump, an accumulator and a hydraulic cylinder connected to the first arm section. An arm drive system in the first arm section rotates the second arm section relative to the first arm section. The arm drive system may use chains and sprockets. An electrical system includes a battery contained within a lower rear opening of the chassis. The motor and an AC to DC converter are electrically connected to a motor mechanically connected to the pump. The pump is operated by the motor, and the motor is electrically powered by the battery and/or the AC to DC converter.
REMOTE-CONTROLLED VEHICLE WITH CAMERA MOUNT
A remote-controlled vehicle includes a vehicle body, a first wheel, a second wheel, and a camera mount. The first wheel is rotatably coupled to a first side of the vehicle body, and the second wheel is rotatably coupled to a second side of the vehicle body. Each of the first wheel and the second wheel has a first height measured in a direction perpendicular to a central longitudinal plane of the vehicle body. The camera mount is coupled to the vehicle body, and the camera mount is configured to removably couple to a camera device. The camera mount has a second height measured in the direction perpendicular to the central longitudinal plane, and the second height is less than the first height such that the camera mount does not extend outside of the first height.
MOVABLE PLATFORM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A control method of a movable platform includes obtaining current attitude information of a gimbal at the movable platform, determine whether the movable platform is in a tip-over state according to the current attitude information of the gimbal, and when the movable platform is in the tip-over state, switching the gimbal to a protection mode. The gimbal includes a shaft mechanism. The shaft mechanism includes a bracket and a motor. The motor is configured to drive the bracket. The protection mode includes powering off the motor of the gimbal.
Crane assembly
A crane assembly is configured to move a camera. The crane assembly has a base support assembly which includes a box support, joined to at least three box leg sleeves extending outward and downward from the box support. A plurality of legs where each leg is joined to one of the box leg sleeves. A plurality of drop in leg forks where each drop in leg fork joined is to at least one of the legs. A plurality of spreader bars where each spreader bar is joined to two of the drop in leg forks.
ELECTRIC BOOM
A fully electric lift device includes a base assembly, a lift assembly, a platform assembly, tractive elements, an energy storage device, and a control system. The lift assembly is coupled with the base assembly and is driven by an electric linear actuator for a lifting function. The platform assembly is positioned at a top of the lift assembly and can be raised or lowered as the lift assembly performs the lifting function. The tractive elements are rotatably coupled with the base assembly and can be driven by an electric wheel motor to perform a driving function. The control system includes a controller that operates the electric wheel motor and the electric linear actuator to perform the driving function and the lifting function using power drawn from the energy storage device. The lift assembly and the tractive elements use only electrical energy to perform the lifting and driving functions.
