Balanced camera slider

A camera slider has a base and a tubular hollow arm pivotally attached to the base. A counterweight carriage is supported on the arm on carriage rollers. An electric drive motor moves the counterweight carriage linearly on top of the arm. A slider counterweight is movable between ends of the arm to maintain the arm in balance. A telescoping locking strut allows the arm to be held at a wide range of elevation angles.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIRECTION OF TRAVEL

A vehicle can include a chassis. The vehicle can also include a turntable. The turntable can be rotatably coupled to the chassis. The turntable can include a counterweight. The vehicle can also include a boom assembly. The boom assembly can have a proximal end portion coupled to the turntable and a distal end portion opposite the proximal end portion. The vehicle can also include a camera directly coupled to the counterweight. The camera can have a field of view extending away from the boom assembly.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIRECTION OF TRAVEL

A vehicle can include a chassis. The vehicle can also include a turntable. The turntable can be movably coupled with the chassis. The vehicle can also include a first camera and a second camera. The vehicle can also include a control system. The control system can include one or more memory devices. The one or more memory devices can store instructions thereon. The instruction can, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive first data indicating movement of the vehicle. The instructions can also cause the one or more processors to generate a first user interface including image data from the first camera. The instructions can also cause the one or more processors to in response to the first data indicating the movement of the vehicle, generate a second user interface including image data from the second camera.

Collapsible curved support track system for camera slider dolly
10054257 · 2018-08-21 · ·

A collapsible curved support track system for a camera slider dolly includes a plurality of curved inner and outer rail segments each having an outer configuration enabling a first set of rollers of the camera slider dolly to smoothly roll thereon. Connectors disposed within adjacent open ends of the inner and outer rail segments enable manual detachable connection between inner rail segments to form a curved inner rail and a curved outer rail. Supports in spaced relation support the inner and outer rails to form a generally parallel curved track. The supports have mounts configured to removably receive a portion of the inner rail or outer rail. A plurality of the mounts are adjustable to enable adjustment of the inner or outer rails associated therewith.

ARTICULATED DEVICE FOR ATTACHING A FILMING HEAD TO THE END OF A FILMING CRANE AND A FILMING CRANE INCORPORATING SUCH A DEVICE

An articulated device for attaching a filming head to the end of a telescoping filming crane of the type having a shaft with sections which can be extended or retracted, counterweight means for balancing the crane around a fulcrum point for balancing of the shaft. The articulated device, of linkage with the filming head is composed of two rotation axes including a first rotation axis of which is linked to the surface of connection with the end tip of the telescopic crane, the second rotation axis is linked to the surface of connection with the filming head. A motor, associated with the second rotation axis, is responsible for the rotation of the plane of union of the articulated device with the filming head, thus allowing a rotation of at least 90? in the upper direction and 90? in the lower direction.

Camera crane tractor

A camera crane tractor includes first and second spaced apart and parallel wheel decks on a chassis. The tractor has left and right side treads supported on tread rollers on the chassis, and a motor for driving the treads. One or more angled wheel guide strips may be provided on each of the wheel decks, to guide the wheels of a mobile base rolling onto the wheel decks. The wheel guide strips may have an angle complimentary to an angled sidewall of the wheels of the mobile base. Wheels stops are positioned at the ends of the wheel decks to prevent longitudinal movement of the mobile base after it is loaded onto the tractor. Threaded holes may be provided in the chassis between the wheel decks to allow the mobile base to be clamped down onto the tractor.

Dolly system

A dolly system is disclosed, which overcomes drawbacks related to unwanted noise and jerks of prior art dolly systems. The dolly system comprises wheel assemblies (130) that have independently rotating lateral support wheels (132, 133) in combination with a center wheel (131) that interact with a continuous resilient element (122) when rolling along a rail track, without encountering any gaps or bumps and without producing squeal noise due to so-called wheel-climbing that may occur in curves along the rail track.
