Wine bottle opener
A manual bottle opener (1) that provides a means to slowly and steadily remove a stopper made from cork, foam or plastic, from a bottle by utilizing a gearbox (26) to allow a high number of low torque rotations of a handle (9) to be converted into a lower number of high torque rotations of a corkscrew (2). As a result the stopper is removed without any sudden change in pulling force and there is therefore a risk that the user will not realize that the stopper is out and keep turning the handle (9) and as a result damage the stopper. A corkscrew (2) locking method is therefore provided to protect the stopper and an overload clutch (16) is provided to protect the gearbox (26) and provide auditory feedback to the user.
ELECTRIC VACUUM-PUMPING AND TINFOIL-CUTTING INTEGRATED MACHINE
The present invention discloses an electric vacuum-pumping and tinfoil-cutting integrated machine. The integrated machine has a housing which comprises a fixed outer housing having an outer housing receiving cavity formed therein and a fixed inner housing having an inner housing receiving cavity formed therein, wherein a PCB and a battery are embedded in the inner housing receiving cavity of the fixed inner housing; and an electric tinfoil-cutting assembly is embedded on an upper end side of the fixed inner housing inside the outer housing receiving cavity of the fixed outer housing, and an electric vacuum-pumping assembly is embedded on a lower end side of the fixed inner housing inside the outer housing receiving cavity of the fixed outer housing. The present invention can achieve a vacuum-pumping function and a tinfoil-cutting function, and has the advantages of novel structural design, diversified functions and convenience in use.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CONTAINER CONTENT PRESERVATION
One feature pertains to a device that includes a main body having a bottle-receiving end that receives an end of a bottle having a mouth and forms an airtight seal between an exterior surface of the bottle and an interior air cavity of the main body. The device also includes an actuator assembly that drives a stopper securement device into a stopper positioned within the mouth of the bottle and retracts the stopper securement device to remove the stopper from the mouth of the bottle. The device also includes a vacuum pump that evacuates air out of the interior air cavity and the bottle's headspace after the stopper has been removed to create a vacuum within the headspace. The actuator assembly may also drive the stopper securement device and the stopper back into the mouth of the bottle to reseal the bottle while the headspace is under vacuum.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CONTAINER CONTENT PRESERVATION
One feature pertains to a device that includes a main body having a bottle-receiving end that receives a bottle and forms a substantially airtight seal between the main body and an exterior surface of the bottle surrounding a mouth of the bottle. The bottle-receiving end has a bottom opening to allow for fluid-flow communication between an interior air cavity of the main body and a headspace of the bottle. The device further includes a stopper securement device, and a vacuum pump that evacuates air out of the interior air cavity and the headspace to create a vacuum or partial vacuum within the headspace. The device also includes a means for inserting the stopper into the mouth of the bottle using the stopper securement device after the vacuum pump evacuates air out of the interior cavity and the headspace.
Laboratory test tube handling device
The present application is directed towards the handling of laboratory test tubes. More particularly to a specialized laboratory device that enables manual opening, closing and capping of multiple test tubes with integral sealing caps. The Laboratory Test Tube Handling Device permits the user to perform multiple processes simultaneously more efficiently and rapidly than current practice.
Septum-and-bodkin kit for resealing a partially depleted bottle of wine
A kit consisting of a septum and bodkin is provided for resealing liquid such as wine within a bottle having a neck and body. The septum, a resiliently deformable diaphragm, has an undeformed dimension substantially equal to an inner diameter of the body and is deformable to a dimension less than an inner diameter of the neck. The bodkin, an elongated rod, has a ramming end to deform and push the septum through the neck, and opposite the ramming end has a retrieving end to grasp and extrude the septum from the neck. Using the bodkin, the septum is placed against the surface of liquid and inner wall of the bottle to form an air-tight seal that can be broken using the bodkin or by rotating the bottle to a breakage angle. The septum can be extruded from the bottle using the retrieving end of the bodkin.
BOTTLE ADAPTER PRESS AND RELATED SYSTEM AND METHOD
Devices and related systems and methods for installing an adapter, cap, plug, or other fitment in or over, or otherwise closing, filling, or sealing, an opening of a bottle, vial, or other container, wherein such devices are adjustable to enable use for different sizes of containers.
SEPTUM-AND-BODKIN KIT FOR RESEALING A PARTIALLY DEPLETED BOTTLE OF WINE
A kit consisting of a septum and bodkin is provided for resealing liquid such as wine within a bottle having a neck and body.
