Illuminated pin game platform
A game platform and process of setting up and scoring individual game pins on the game platform is provided. The platform and process has utility to mitigate the negative impact of recurring manual setup of individual game pins on a game surface prior to beginning or continuing play such as the misalignment of individual game pins potentially creating an unfair advantage or disadvantage to those playing the game. The platform and process also has utility to increase the efficiency and uniformity of game setup and game play. The platform affords automatic identification of a misaligned game pin and notifies a player of the need to realign the game pin. The platform has further utility to automatically score the game and generate additional game information in real-time.

The frame includes two legs which lie parallel to one another within opposite troughs of the bowling lane and extend along a longitudinal direction of the troughs. The frame further includes two uprights, each coupled to a respective leg, such that the uprights are parallel to one another and perpendicular to the legs. The frame further includes a crossbar assembly coupled to the uprights and arranged perpendicularly to the uprights and perpendicularly to the legs. The crossbar assembly spans a width of the bowling lane. The target is suspended from the crossbar assembly, and is positioned on the crossbar assembly such that at least a portion of the target is arranged in a line of sight of a bowler using the bowling lane.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BOWLING GAME THROUGH NETWORK INTERCONNECT
A system for a bowling game through a network interconnect includes: an information collection unit collecting bowling game participation information and bowling alley information input from a portable device and a bowling alley server interconnected and accessing a network; a bowling game creation unit creating a team member by applying a penalty for each bowling average of each player based on the collected bowling game participation information; a score management unit calculating scores of each player and each team member, and determining rankings by using a bowling game image of each player transferred from each bowling alley based on the created team member; and a sharing support unit interlocking respective corresponding bowling alley servers with each other, authenticating a player performing the bowling game based on a screen image or motion information photographed, and transferring bowling game related information to the portable device.
