CAN PIERCING AND STRAINING TOOL
A can piercing device that pierces openings in a can lid to allow the can to allow be used for draining or straining the can contents. The device has a pattern of punch spikes, which, when placed against a side lip of a can and rotated using an attachment hook as a fulcrum, punches a series of openings through a can lid. The series of punched openings creates a strainer to drain the liquid from the can contents before removing the can lid. Can contents can be repeatedly rinsed and drained by adding water through the openings created and draining the liquid. It is also possible to provide the can piercing device with additional features that allow the device to be used as a side cutting can opener, in order to completely remove the can lid, once the draining or straining has taken place.
Lock-blade knife for cooking purposes
A lock-blade knife for cooking purposes comprises a housing, a blade pivotally attached to the housing and a locking mechanism. The blade is rotatable relative to the housing between a closed position and a least one cutting position. The locking mechanism is configured to lock the blade in the at least one cutting position. The locking mechanism comprises a biasing member, an engagement structure, and a grasping member. The engagement structure is disposed on the blade, and the grasping member is displaceable from a locking position into a releasing position. The grasping member is biased into the releasing position. The grasping member is in engagement with the engagement structure in the locking position when cutting to lock the blade in position. The blade is rotatable between the cutting position and the closed position when the grasping member is manually displaced into the releasing position.
MULTIFUNCTION FOLDABLE KNIFE
A knife is disclosed having a handle with first and second half handles, a blade containing portion for securing a blade and an opening in a top surface of handle and first and second ends to contain the blade in a folded closed position. The knife includes a hook portion on a posterior end of the blade and a cutting surface portion on an anterior end; a nut and bolt system passing through the blade near the posterior end and both half handles terminating at on outside portion of each half handle enabling the blade to rotate between open and closed positions. A spring bar is integrated in a central portion of the first half handle, attached to the first half handle at a posterior end and including a ball pin on an anterior end of the spring bar, the ball pin enabled to engage the blade in various positions.
Apparatus and methods of opening containers
An apparatus and methods of opening containers which permit the user to remove the entire flat upper planar surface. The apparatus and methods, incorporate a platform with a plurality of arms operatively coupled to respective blade members that engage inner circumferential edge of a container by folding the edges inward. The blade members and arms are operatively coupled to a lever and rotate outward when the lever is compressed. The inventors have determined that apparatus and methods provided herein are able to adhere to the different sizes and contours of a sealed can lid. Additionally, by way of example, the inventors have determined that apparatus and methods provided herein can permit the user to safely remove the top of the can with both ease and efficiency.
CAN CUTTING DEVICE
Improved systems and methods for cutting a can are provided. The system includes a can cutting device having a main body, a can support assembly, and a cutter. The can support assembly has a can support rotatable about a can support longitudinal axis. The can is positionable in a mounted position that holds the can body in contact with the can support at least at a cutting location. When the can is positioned in the mounted position, the can is rotatable about a can axis of rotation. When the cutting surface is in contact with the can body supported by the can support at the cutting location and the can is rotated about the can axis of rotation, the cutting surface cuts the portion of the can body at the cutting location.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A MULTI-TOOL MONEY CLIP
A multifunction money clip includes a first plate and a second plate connected to the first plate via a plurality of connectors at the corners of the first and second plate, the first and second plate forming an internal area. The multifunction money clip further includes a plurality of tools each rotationally connected to the first and second plate via one of the plurality of connectors, the plurality of tools located in the internal area when retracted. The multifunction money clip further includes a double clip located on the first plate, a first portion of the double clip opening in a first direction and configured to trap items between the first plate and the clip and a second portion of the double clip opening in a second direction, opposite the first direction, and configured to trap items between the second clip portion and the first clip portion. A small clip is included opposite the double clip to attach to a pocket.
Adjustable can opener
An adjustable can opener that includes a space adjustment assembly disposed between a main body and a washer set is provided. The space adjustment assembly includes a retaining base coupled to the main body and an adjustment shifting block fitted on the retaining base. The retaining base has a stepped portion having multiple steps. The adjustment shifting block also has a stepped portion having multiple steps. Responsive to manual rotation of the adjustment shifting block, the position where one of the steps of the adjustment shifting block is in contact with a respective one of the steps of the retaining base is changed to adjust the space between a traction wheel and a cutter wheel of the can opener.
