Method and device for manufacturing and filling thin-walled beverage containers
A device for manufacturing and filling beverage containers (12) having thin walls and/or at least partially unstable shapes under the influence of heat is described, in which the containers (12) are manufactured by blow molding of preforms (10), then filled with a hot liquid filling product (16), next pressurized by a compressed gas (18), and then sealed. The preforms (10) and the containers (12) molded therefrom are pressurized during blow molding at a blow molding temperature, which is essentially below 110 C.
CONTAINER FILLING SYSTEM AND VALVE FOR SAME
A container filling valve may include a shuttle and a drive sleeve that are magnetically coupled. Movement of the drive sleeve may move the shuttle from a position in which the filling valve is closed to a position in which the filling valve is open. A container handling arm may include a distal end configured to hold a container and a proximal end that includes a load cell. A low flow setpoint system may be configured to arrest closing of a filling valve when that filling valve is partially closed. A pressure control system may be configured to maintain a desired pressure in a reservoir or in a flow path from that reservoir. A product recirculation system may be configured to adjust flow rate in the product recirculation system.
Method and device for hot-filling a liquid product
A method and a device for hot-filling a liquid product with a flash pasteurizer comprising a first and a second heat exchanger, a filling station, a cooling tunnel for cooling filled containers, and a heat pump. Prior to the filling process, the product is heated to a target temperature in the flash pasteurizer. Coolant is conducted from the cooling tunnel to the second heat exchanger, so that at least a part of the thermal energy of the coolant can be transferred to the product. The product is then conducted from the first to the second heat exchanger, wherein a further part of the thermal energy can be transferred to the second heat exchanger by the heat pump using a heat transfer medium to heat the product to the target temperature. The heat transfer medium is additionally heated by a heater arranged between the heat pump and the second heat exchanger.
Method of handling a plastic container having a moveable base
Method for processing hot-filled plastic containers are provided. In some embodiments, the method may include hot-filling a plastic container, sealing the container, and conveying the sealed container, each with an inner annular wall and a push-up portion in a first position. In some embodiments, the method may further include creating a vacuum pressure in the hot-filled and sealed container and repositioning the push-up portion from the first position to a second position under a mechanical force.
METHOD OF PROCESSING A PLASTIC CONTAINER TO INCREASE INTERNAL PRESSURE
A method of processing a plastic container to increase internal pressure including blow-molding the container to comprise an invertible panel in the base and a standing ring, hot filling and sealing the container, feeding the container into an apparatus with a holding device and forcing a volume reduction and pressure increase into the container, and stacking the containers in bulk pallets on top of one another to increase top load and create a positive pressure within the distribution load of containers.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ESTIMATING A LOCATION OF AN EPILEPTOGENIC ZONE OF A MAMMALIAN BRAIN
The invention relates to a method for estimating a location of an epileptogenic zone of a mammalian brain, a system for performing a method for estimating a location of an epileptogenic zone of a mammalian brain as well as a computer-readable medium including a set of instructions for estimating a location of an epileptogenic zone of a mammalian brain.
Method of hot-filling a plastic container having vertically folding vacuum panels
A semi-rigid collapsible container has a side-wall with an upper portion, a central portion, a lower portion and a base. The central portion includes a vacuum panel portion having a control portion and an initiator portion. The control portion is inclined more steeply in a vertical direction, i.e. has a more acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the container, than the initiator portion. On low vacuum force being present within the container panel following the cooling of a hot liquid in the container the initiator portion will flex inwardly to cause the control portion to invert and flex further inwardly into the container and the central portion to collapse. Raised ribs provide an additional support for the container in its collapsed state. In another embodiment the telescoping of the container back to its original position occurs when the vacuum force is released following removal of the container cap.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR FILLING CONTAINERS WITH POURABLE PRODUCT
A filling machine for filling containers with a pourable product, comprising: a product tank containing the pourable product and a first gas maintained at a first pressure value; at least one dosing tank containing a second gas; a first pressurizing device configured to selectively pressurize the second gas in the at least one dosing tank to a second pressure value, that is lower than the first pressure value; a controller configured to: set the second valve in an open configuration after the at least one dosing tank has been pressurized to the second pressure value; and set the second valve in the closed configuration as the pressure detected by the sensor in the at least one dosing tank reaches a third pressure value corresponding to a predetermined volume of the pourable product in the dosing tank.
METHOD AND FILLING SYSTEM FOR FILLING CONTAINERS
A method for filling a container with spirit or wine includes using a valve to control flow of filling material into a container sealed against a plant from. Once the container has been filled, and while the valve is closed, pressurized Trinox gas drives surplus fluid out of the container. A Trinox gas path through which the gas flows passes through a bellows and opens into a head space of the container.
