Mobile bottling, packaging and distribution system
A mobile bottling and distribution system that improves the efficiency and lowers the overall operating costs associated with the mixing, blending, bottling, shipping and distribution of liquid products of various viscosities by providing a plurality of smaller self-contained facilities which are preferably housed upon a plurality of over the road type trailers each being capable of being moved from location to location by conventional over the road tractors.

Method of handling a plastic container having a moveable base
A plastic container comprises an upper portion including a finish defining an opening into the container, a lower portion including a base defining a standing surface, a sidewall extending between the upper portion and the lower portion, the sidewall defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one substantially transversely-oriented pressure panel located in the lower portion. The pressure panel is movable between an outwardly-inclined position and an inwardly-inclined position to compensate for a change of pressure inside the container. The standing surface defines a standing plane, and the entire pressure panel is located between the standing plane and the upper portion of the container when the pressure panel is in the outwardly-inclined position.
FILLING LINE FOR HEAT-TREATING AND FILLING A LIQUID INTO CONTAINERS
Filling line for heat-treating and filling a liquid, comprising a pre-heater (1) for pre-heating the liquid, a heater (2) for heating the liquid after pre-heating, a cooler (3) for cooling down the liquid after heating, an a filling unit (4) for filling the liquid, where the filling line is suitable for hot filling and cold filling, where the liquid path from the pre-heater to the filling unit for hot filling differs from the liquid path from the pre-heater to the filling unit for cold filling, and the filling line comprises a switching option (5) for switching between the two liquid paths; and a method for heat-treating and filling a liquid in which such a filling line is used.
Container Filling System and Valve for Same
A container filling valve may include a shuttle and a drive sleeve that are magnetically coupled. Movement of the drive sleeve may move the shuttle from a position in which the filling valve is closed to a position in which the filling valve is open. A container handling arm may include a distal end configured to hold a container and a proximal end that includes a load cell. A low flow setpoint system may be configured to arrest closing of a filling valve when that filling valve is partially closed. A pressure control system may be configured to maintain a desired pressure in a reservoir or in a flow path from that reservoir. A product recirculation system may be configured to adjust flow rate in the product recirculation system.
Filling device
A filling device for filling containers with liquid product includes a valve that is arranged in a product channel thereof. The valve comprises a valve element that is arranged in the product channel and a valve seat that surrounds the valve element to form the valve. The valve element and valve seat can be adjusted relative to each other. Length-adjustable connectors connect the valve seat to the product channel on both sides of the valve seat.

Enhanced bottle filler assembly
An enhanced bottle filler assembly for filling bottles with a liquid from a pressurized vessel into an unpressurized vessel. In a preferred embodiment a molded body has a fitting housing and a grip formed perpendicular to one another. A grip passage interposing the grip, a valve actuator interposing the grip passage, a housing passage interposing the fitting housing, wherein said housing passage is fluidly connected to the grip passage. Two tubes are placed inside each other forming an annulus where a compressed gas can be forced to the bottom of a vessel to purge the vessel of oxygen. A sealing mechanism allows a liquid to flow into the bottle when trigger is pulled.
Machine for processing containers having an improved control architecture
A machine for processing containers is disclosed. The machine has a conveying device and at least one processing unit coupled to the conveying device to be carried along a processing path. The processing unit is provided with: a winding element, having an outer lateral surface designed to receive, and cause winding of, a portion of labelling material in a tubular configuration with opposite ends overlapped, and a top surface designed to support a bottom portion of a container to be processed; a sealing device including a sealing element having a functional surface adapted to cooperate with said portion wound about said winding body for performing a welding process of the overlapped ends, as the processing unit is carried along the path, to form a sleeve label; and a displacement device, operable to cause a relative displacement between the sleeve label and the container.
